If her mom took better care of her hair, she wouldn't have so much breakage to cut, no need to watch the stylist like a hook if u doing your Job at maintaining
When my mom wanted a change but didn't know how short she wanted to go our hairdresser literally went in 0.5 cm steps to let her see it and tell her when to stop...took like 2 1/2hrs but she was very happy with the result and it looked great...to be fair my mom's hair is only about shoulder length tho...
Stella Simmons first time i got my hair highlighted this happened to me. I was so sad but i was young and since my hair has grown back but not to what it used to be. It used to go to my butt which is too long for me anyways then they cut it to my back so they cut like 12 inches maybe more
@@analyssahicks8919 That's why I had to finally explain to her that my hair was not damaged from split ends. I would request an light trim mainly for maintenance on an 3 month basis smh. I keep it very short now because I'm gray lol but I remember those days so well, and the worst part about it she would have the nerve to charge me extra because of the length of my hair when trimming, washing, styling, pressing etc. I loved my hair, and always got compliments but I'm really just over hair now, so I keep it short and sweet. because she just took out braids that were in for a long period of time if I were to wet it the dead hair inside would tangle her hair causing knots so in this case you brush and remove the dead hair before wetting or else it will loc or tangle up terribly

Trims are important folks, let the stylist take what needs to be taken so that hair can grow long. She looks fab tho! Great job! Always amazes me to know there are tender headed folks lol
Mom coming in the salon: do something with my daughter's hair because I can't handle it, it's too much work Also mom: DON'T EVEN TRIM IT Ok sisssss chill out and if you want long hair you should take care of it for as long as it needs
If her hair tangles a lot while washing. Brush out then put length in a cloth hair band. Step in shower and wet hair. Put some condit on the length while still in the band. Then wash head/ hair like normal but be very gentle. Then after rinsing it lot. Take length out of band and then rinse the end. You wont have tangles when your done and hair will be clean. It's all the washing and moving the hair all over that tangles it like crazy. Then rinse hair band out.
