My father worked at Fort Knox. When I was 4 years old I got to go inside. Only because of my age was I allowed inside because my sister was 10 at the time and she was not permitted to. I'm 47 now so I barely remember it, however I recall seeing the vault and gold bars lined up from floor to the ceiling. The year would have been 1979 and my only memories were entering past the guard station and seeing inside the vault.
Without any pictures or proof I'm sorry no one is going to believe you lol she rightfully so. Anyone can come up with a convenient anecdote like this. Land mines are pressure sensitive. Depending on which landmines they have(I doubt they have Anti personnel mines, they would need A LOT of those). They would rather have Anti vehicle mines which need a pressure of 200kg(440lbs) to detonate. Just my guess tho
