Beautiful lake out there👌🏽
What would you recommend: Seadoo gti 170 se 2021 or Yamaha vx cruiser ho 2021 for salt and rough water use only (sea, ocean)
Many thanks
The seadoo will ride better and smoother in rougher waters
Yamaha hands down.
Both are nice skis, to be perfectly honest. SeaDoo has better styling, but I'd prefer the reliability of the Yamaha. Just a preference, but I'd love to ride either one.
Yea the seadoo definitely looks better and rides better but the Yamaha is very reliable. But my gtx 230 is at 115 hours with no issues
No you want to race me!!!!!🤣🤣😂🌲
Yamaha GP1800 R Jet ski haha everyone is scared to when they know they will loose
You should race a new 2024 yamaha GP1800R HO 1.9 liter vs a 2024 seadoo 230. See which one is faster off the line and top speed. I would be willing to bet the GP1800R HO 1.9 would spank the seadoo 230.
that has a 1.8l the 1.9 is the natty that makes 200hp. and ill let you in on a little secret those old 230's like in this video were a supercharged 1500 that made a hell of a lot more power than 230hp the new 230's is a 1630 ace that is downtuned to 230hp
@jackg350
My yamaha VXR I had I raced two seadoo 230s I beat the first one 3 runs hands down, the second one beat me by a full ski length. Seadoo has to make supercharged skis to keep up with yamahas 1.8 HO in a GP1800R ski. Reason why is the yami is way lighter and if a ski that weighs 90 pounds lighter than a seadoo 230hp will win hands down. Horsepower to weight ratio. Plus you can win the race and your yamaha still floats unlike the seadoo that tends to sink before the race is over. 🤣
@@ParrotHead1980 I don’t doubt a light vxr would beat a gtx or rxt 230. But rotax uses three bangers also rotax manages to pump 325 horsepower out of there top of the line motor so that’s kind of embarrassing that Yamaha can’t even break 300 with a 1.8l 4 banger
The thing that the fx cruisers are great at is the boost you get at the start... its great although i prefer seadoos
Same I’ll always be a seadoo person
@@Jetskiracingchannel you cant beat those hops.... or whatever you call them lol
@@callumclose1 haha ya
I choose Yamaha but I love sea Doo, but Yamaha is more reliable and at the end of the day you would want something that doesn't break and leave you in the middle of the ocean but I got to admit, Sea Doo is the fastest jet ski brand when is stock
Kawasaki jet ski is a mix between Yamaha and sea doo, reliability and speed although if a piece breaks it would be hard to find and not to mention how expensive it would be
Are the seadoo gtx reliable ?
The 230 is
@@Jetskiracingchannel what about the gtx 300?
@@Dazed207 it’s in the shop right now because of the IDF
@@Jetskiracingchannel I wouldn’t get one with IDF are they reliable besides that
@@Dazed207 yea they are
Go race a fx ho vs the gti 170. Bet the Yamaha wins that by a mile.
I don’t have a gti 170. I got fast skis not slow ones 😂
Dude the yamahas are always in sport mode because they dont have drive modes all sport mode does is give you all 230 horsepower
@@jackg350 It goes the same top speed in normal mode vs sport 😂
@@Jetskiracingchannel there’s a throttle by wire system that when it’s in normal mode it gradually eases into having all power to give you a weak takeoff on a Yamaha always has full power
@@jackg350 the e Seadoo also makes 50 more horse power so we evened it out
@@Jetskiracingchannel true that, watching the power kick in and spank the yamaha is satisfying enough
SinkDoo
How can you compare these.. you need the GTX 300 not the 230..
I have a RXT 300. The gtx 230 is the equivalent to the FX HO 180
Well then you would need the svho to compare to the 300...dumb
@@wyatthunter987 I compared the same 230 to the SVHO ua-cam.com/video/5KyZlu2Fp4M/v-deo.html
Sea don’t.
No you want to race me🤣🤣😂🤣🤣to make a video
Lol gotta make em some how
Why always race Yamaha that is rated lower than your seadoo. How about racing with both stock.
They are both stock
180 horse power vs 230 horsepower? I have notice all your post where you haul azz is because you have the advantage.
180 vs 230 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Seadoo fastest ski has 300. Yamaha fastest ski has 250. Subtract 70 from both of those numbers. They are 180 and 230. These are the same ski from each maker. Faster than the rec models but not the fastest you can buy
Very well put
seadoo is always better
Grace Townley I agree
wrxassa lol you calling me dumb but they are supercharged not turbo charged and you can’t even spell “are”
wrxassa nor can you spell dumb so I would really work on your spelling before you try and criticize my UA-cam video
Not necessarily, seadoos can be faster but have you rode a yamaha and a seadoo and felt how much more sturdier the handlebars on a yamaha are? And also yamahas have a way quicker start speed as you can see in the video when the race started. Yamahas are also more reliable and less accidents happen on yamahas. There are pros and cons of both jet skis there isnt necessarily a better one.
And another thing... The fastest yamaha is faster than the fastest seadoo
