I was there 6 weeks recently. Any young person with any kind of athletic ability will be playing football in a society where the skills being shared...even among young kids...are very high level. Unless another country can mirror that, Spain is going to continue to win championships in football. Three taxi drivers I used had sons playing professional football.
It’s the influence of 2010. These kids clearly are taught Iniesta/Xavi/Busquets/Guardiola ball from kindergarten age

Spain are definitely on another level at moment. Their speed of movement and accuracy on pass is very precise .

Most of them only put the goals and sometimes the missed penalties, the red cards maybe.
For 3 bad highlight videos (2 club channels + 1 the league's channel ) you usually get 1 good video made by the TV channels that broadcast the matches.
So at the end 75% of all broadcasts for top flight leagues are indeed worse than this U17 women's match.

The WSL in UK is getting stronger but this shows how far England and the state school system set up needs vast improvement otherwise England will continue to be in Spains shadow, and at the moment we have some catching up to do.

WSL is getting stronger cause of they have financial pull to sign top foreign talents unlike in Spain where they do not have that privilege so they're forced to develop their own players thus giving them greater pool of players to select from for their national team while England is stagnant in giving their youngsters opportunities due to tough competition

Alba Cerrato is wanted by Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City and you can see why.

That used to be the case, but with the Women's Game growing every year, that is now not so much the case.
There are now 17 payers, that came from Spanish Clubs, in the WSL alone, all young, that is not counting the rest of Europe and it is growing all the time.
Apparently the main strikers of Cerrato`s team (Sevilla FC) have been linked to Everton. I think that Cerrato will see lots of regular time in the first team next season. I doubt she will leave this early.

Well, we did in 1966. Then in 2017 the under 17 mens team won the World Cup and more recently in 2022 the womens team won the Euro cup. I believe the under 19 mens team had some success with a Euro cup too fairly recently. Unfortunately though this success is not currently translating to the mens senior team.
Edit: I believe the under 20 and under 21 have done alright too in recent times.

Lo de la Federación Española con el futbol femenino se podría catalogar ya como delito de odio!!! No lo hicieron una vez sino dos, habría que enviarle el video de la final a Cefferino e Infantino para que se les cayera la cara de vergüenza por seguir protegiendo al presidente Rocha y a todos sus palmeros!!! Rocha para hacerse la foto en Valdebebas si tiene tiempo pero para entregar unas medallas tanto a la Real Sociedad o al Barça nunca están, esto ya clama al cielo.

Posiblemente España ahora mismo esté muy por delante de la mayoría de Europa y si me apuras, global, en tolerancia a la diversidad y en igualdad entre sexos. Se me ocurre el grupo Nebulossa, por ejemplo. Fíjate en la paridad de nuestro parlamento o ejecutivo y compáralo con el parlamento o ejecutivo británico, por ejemplo.
En España exite una ley de violencia de género, que ha sido imitada por otros paises europeos. Por supuesto que queda mucho por hacer pero lo importante es que se está haciendo.
Tengo una hija, por eso te puedo decir que para que una mujer tenga éxito en el deporte, tiene que estar muy bien acompañada desde niña por una familia que la apoya y se sacrifica y por una sociedad que le permite y le da los medios. Te aseguro que España no sería campeona en todas las categorías del futbol femenino sin alguno de estos apoyos. Esto dice mucho y bien de la sociedad española.
