That's a pretty impressive amount of dirt. My dad and I cleaned up our shed/workshop and, while doing so, I threw the bag out of my shop vac and changed the filter in it. Pretty soon I plan to film my 1959 Kirby using it's old shake-out bag and showing the contents. I switched it back because I'm trying to save money on bags, and I kinda like having one that I can empty.
Yes, that is way too much dust, l won't be opening those dusty bags very much! l still can't believe your 1959 Kirby is in such good condition! Good idea to get reusable bags, l am thinking about investing oni some for the less dusty vacuuming.
@@Cleaning-de-la-maison-hb2mk I recommend taking the machine outside on a good day and emptying it in the trash or throwing the bag out. Whenever I use my old Kirby, I always take it out on my deck out back and shake the bag out. Sometimes I use it a few times in a row and then dump the bag, remove the entire cloth bag and vacuum it inside out with my shop vac so that it is completely clear when I bring it back in.
