Excellent review!! I really liked this album, definitely better than the self titled, which felt kinda underwhelming to me. And I also agree with you on the fade outs, I've always thought Slowdive use fade outs too often instead of writing a proper finish to the track, there's quite a few cuts on Souvlaki that are guilty of this imo

I agree, Slowdive do use the fade out at least once too often per album I find.
However I will differ with you on their 2017 album. I dunno if it was a case of my being in high school and being new to Slowdive when it released but I adore it and it's probably the one i return to the most. In all truth Slomo, Star Roving and No Longer Making Time do some heavy lifting there, but still
