7 years after this video and we can now say that you did the Desantis pudding-scoop with your Spam! Now you are prepared for Hawaii as they consume a good deal of Spam. Seen lots of your videos...love ya!
I thought the only thing I would be interested in seeing out West was Disneyland, Hollywood and maybe Vegas....but your videos completely changed that! I told my husband we would need a month long vacation out west to visit the old Western towns and Route 66.
What sets this channel apart from others is that you go to a variety of places and unique sideshow stops that people may just pass by without so much as a glance. I especially love this channel because I also live in Cali and didn't know most of these places existed! Thank you for all your hard work Justin. The videos just keep getting better and better. Someday I hope you'll make it out to Tokyo Disney or Shanghai. I really would love to see your take on those parks because I really enjoyed your Paris videos. You make my day! Go home and Schleep well!
Justin last night I was watching one of your older videos and all I seen in the comment section was negativity and hate.. You deserve so much better than that cause you are an amazing person. I want to be a part of your positivity cause you are apart of mine. I think very highly of you and love what you are doing. we share the same sense of humor and you help me stay positive. the video was great, I wish I stopped at this place when I was visiting calico. Have an amazing day! love ya brother don't let the negativity get to you. they wish they could be as amazing as you are.
Ali looks good without much makeup honestly, natural suits her! Thanks for doing these videos, really enjoy seeing the wacky things around the state! makes the UK look boring.
My brother has celiac and I know the struggle of trying to find a restaurant with gluten free food, here's a tip if you eat early and get to a restaurant at opening you ask the chef if they changed the oil in the fryer or use a different fryer for frys and if they do then you can have anything that uses the fryer on the menu
Love your vids, takes me back to my 20's and 30's when I used to pack a bag, jump on the Harley, and let the front wheel choose my destination. Keep up the great work!
Really enjoyed your tour of Peggy Sue's. I love diners. You did really well filming in the wind. I love Ally's new puffer coat. Hope it keeps her nice and toasty.
ive been watching your videos from around this area, and, and let me say its a total trip down memory lane. grandpa used to take me to all these places...oatman, calico, peggy sues, route 66, even that del taco in barstow! its so cool that someone out there besides me thinks this stuff is rad
someone once said "I'd tip you, but all I have is cash from Lebanon" which was worth so little compared to US dollars, but I was SO excited to have a currency I had never seen in person before, I didn't care about it's actual value. I got some really sweet coins from the guy too.
Spam should be the number one thing in your earthquake survival kits. A can of Spam has all the nutrients you need to stay alive in case of emergencies.
Maybe but definitely better safe than sorry. In my case we had food in the truck, but we really wanted to visit & I try to support every route 66 / roadside place that I can, so since Ally can eat there it was more a meal of opportunity :)
I love all the Elvis memorabilia! I'm a GIANT Elvis fan, I remember your Tupelo video and you seemed really happy, I was wondering if you like Elvis. If you do you should take a trip to Graceland! It's truly an amazing place
I thought spam was nasty, until I spent a week backpacking in the mountains. Spam and Fish we would catch were our meat options, and I was horrible at fishing!
there is a small Peggy Sue's in downtown San Jose! it's seems to be the same, but much smaller and doesn't have mannequins and all that. it dose have old movie posters an paraphernalia on the wall and good food.
when i was in middle school i tried to steal one of the bottles of mustard off the table here. as i was walking out of the restarunt the bottle fell out of my pocket right in front of the waitress. she asked for it back and i paniced and hid in the bathroom...then grandpa took us to calico. a great day :)
Hey Justin, I've loved your videos for about 2 years now and every time I go to Disney I hope and pray that I get to meet you, but I never do, also every time I see gluten free items on a menu I think about you and your videos, so keep making great videos which all of your subscribers love
Thought I recognized the name of the diner. There is a Peggy Sue's Diner in Kihei on Maui. They serve the best hamburger and shakes I've ever had. It's much smaller than the one you were at though.
Also, I think that you and Real Tyler should dress up in suits and sunglasses and hats and hire an old police car and recreate the Blues Brothers cross-country road trip to Chicago for a future video!
Great Video! this Year was my first time going to Peggy Sues! Went in August. On my way back from Vegas I kept seeing the billboards and and told my girlfriend that we should go eat there, cause it sounded interesting and all those billboards were speaking to me! lol We enjoyed it very much! loved the Diner-Saur park =) Also im a new fan to your channel, been watching your videos for about two months now. Were hoping to make it to your meet up btw :)
Very cool. Another place my husband and I need to check out... and I will drive him crazy by looking at every last detail. Fun for me! Just kidding, he likes all of this stuff too. I'm just more into the minutiae of it all.
Justin Scarred, single-handedly bringing back road side attractions!

Peggy Sue had a mean sense of humor to put that man in the ladies' bathroom. I hope Ally's not traumatized for life.
I thought the only thing I would be interested in seeing out West was Disneyland, Hollywood and maybe Vegas....but your videos completely changed that! I told my husband we would need a month long vacation out west to visit the old Western towns and Route 66.
They need to have an 80's diner like that!

The best weather ever.

That guy in the ladies room would have freaked me out too, Ally! What a neat place! As always, thanks for sharing!
Really enjoyed your tour of Peggy Sue's. I love diners. You did really well filming in the wind. I love Ally's new puffer coat. Hope it keeps her nice and toasty.
Putting a smile on my face after a bad day. You're the best!
Cracking up because as soon as Ally said "Buddy Holly" I started to sing the song right at the same time you did XD
Love old school and vintage stuff! You two compliment each other!! You keep me young!! I am addicted to your videos!!! Enjoy!!!😀😁😁😎😃

Awesome Video!!! I love how you make all of your observations so entertaining! The diner looks awesome, i'd love to visit that place!
Loved this! Peggy Sue's looks awesome!! They definitely don't make places like that any more.
Your in my back yard there in barstow
someone once said "I'd tip you, but all I have is cash from Lebanon" which was worth so little compared to US dollars, but I was SO excited to have a currency I had never seen in person before, I didn't care about it's actual value. I got some really sweet coins from the guy too.
My mom used to take us to Peggy Sues every time we went to Vegas (which was a lot). I love it!!!
You have awesome videos! Always keeps my interest in what's next! Keep up the great work! Job well done.
Ha Ha ! Love the pirate swinging from the tree with the dinosaur below. To flipping Hilarious! :)
Spam should be the number one thing in your earthquake survival kits. A can of Spam has all the nutrients you need to stay alive in case of emergencies.
Your videos are first rate. I give them a thumbs up before I even begin to watch......l already know that it will be great👍😀.
Love that Route 66! Thanks Justin!
I always love the endings! I wonder how many people never watch the endings?
I always wait for the endings. You never know what he will be up to!
It's a great truck stop for many truckers and those that like unusual things when traveling.
Yup 62 degrees is freezing for SoCal peeps.
Yes, But it was 33 degrees
lol
There's already a couple feet of snow on the ground where I live, so I find that amusing! :) P.S. Great video, as always.
I went to high school in Minnesota...33 is tee shirt and shorts weather, lol.
I would get two cylindrical scoops of Thrifty's chocolate malted crunch when I was a kid back in the early 90's. Those were the days.
Love the place been there many times plus going to Calico the same exit
"Ever thought about VAPING?" lol
I don't know about you, but that place is like diner heaven to me. Old school coolness!
Every restaurant should have at least a couple of items on the menu that are gluten free.
Maybe but definitely better safe than sorry. In my case we had food in the truck, but we really wanted to visit & I try to support every route 66 / roadside place that I can, so since Ally can eat there it was more a meal of opportunity :)
Pamela Hicks Gluten Free doesn't guarantee safety. Justin is smart to bring his own food. I only trust Disney with prepared food for my son.
really enjoy your vlogs; I am agoraphobic and don't get out much, I live through you vicariously
You make everything so fun Justin.
You guys are so cute in your little matching plaid shirts!! Great video mate :-)
I love all the Elvis memorabilia! I'm a GIANT Elvis fan, I remember your Tupelo video and you seemed really happy, I was wondering if you like Elvis. If you do you should take a trip to Graceland! It's truly an amazing place
Wow my first job ever was serving Thrifty ice cream back in the early 80s. (5 cents per scoop then) And it's still the best.
I got a Bettie Page shirt from there back in 2008. Been trying to remember the name of the place forever and thanks to your video I found out.
I thought spam was nasty, until I spent a week backpacking in the mountains. Spam and Fish we would catch were our meat options, and I was horrible at fishing!
Wonderful adventure!

Looks like my kinda place. Thanx for sharing!
Been there, I love that place. They had a ton of live turtles out when I was there.
I miss Thrifty's chocolate malted crunch ice cream. My favorite and I haven't had it since I moved to the east 18 years ago.

Thought I recognized the name of the diner. There is a Peggy Sue's Diner in Kihei on Maui. They serve the best hamburger and shakes I've ever had. It's much smaller than the one you were at though.
Like how you and ally were wearing matching flannel
You can always order a burger without the bun and eat it with a fork and knife. They'll add extra lettuce and tomatoes. It's pretty yummy that way.

Yall do remind me of the American Pickers!!😂😂Thanks for the Adventures!
Rite Aid carries Thrifty's Ice Cream! So so so good :)

The food is good and it's a fun place to visit.
That place is pretty schweet. I love death valley for star gazing,no light pollution. Are you going to check out Scotty's castle?

Yeah, I can see you and Tyler as the guys from American Pickers!
l love this diner ! My sister accidentally knocked a cup off of a shelve in the gift shop area.. they were so not happy haha.
Also, I think that you and Real Tyler should dress up in suits and sunglasses and hats and hire an old police car and recreate the Blues Brothers cross-country road trip to Chicago for a future video!

Shalalalalala don't you cry we're gonna get a pie we're gonna feed the girl lol
These types of videos are my favorite! That is why I dropped Netflix and HBO because you can only find these types of videos on You Tube!
All I could think when I saw the "big fish", was "The Favour, The Watch, and the Very Big Fish" . . . look it up. ;o)
Great Video! this Year was my first time going to Peggy Sues! Went in August. On my way back from Vegas I kept seeing the billboards and and told my girlfriend that we should go eat there, cause it sounded interesting and all those billboards were speaking to me! lol We enjoyed it very much! loved the Diner-Saur park =) Also im a new fan to your channel, been watching your videos for about two months now. the manaquin is doing the challenge in the bathroom GG
NOT stopping at dingy trucker diners? I've had some of the best food of my life in those places. Like a place in Boise, Idaho or Jolly, Texas.
aww Matching outfits
