Just got to say, that these Route 66 videos are fantastic ! Thanks so much for filming and posting them. Enjoying them immensely, every night, here in Melbourne Australia.
I could never do a road trip like this. All those half-abandoned tourist traps would rub me the wrong way. But don't let me discourage you Justin! Keep going forward on Route 66!
great video. i saw the original cadillac ranch in 1975. did not know they had moved it. thanks for the memories. I traveled those roads back in 1975 while hitch-hiking across the country as a teenager.
Justin, really enjoying your cross country adventure. As I watch, I will pause and read up on many of the roadside sites you stop and visit. Thanks for that. Continued success on your journey.
This was a good vlog Justin. Adam gave you props this weekend at the convention. Any friend of Adam's is worth getting to know. I apologize too much Disney makes me crazy.
Wow! No one has commented yet on all this road tripping goodness-y havin' fun learning new stuff-ness...stuff? Well, I'm loving it! Looking forward to the next vlog, Justin!
oh man, Texas. "I don't wanna take your last dollar." Here in California they would take your dollar without a though, give you a disgusted look and halfass their way through a performance. I am loving these videos Justin!
I whole heartedly agree with you about persevering and enjoying the old Googie architecture and fun kitche buildings. Thanks for today's tour. Super awesome!
I've always wanted to stop at these places in nm & tx, I've passed by at least 10 times on cross country road trips, surprisingly entertaining, thanks Justin!
Your vlogs are amazing! I'm from Tx and I loved seeing areas that I've never visited around my state. There's so much to see so hopefully you can come back through the south sometime.
I really enjoyed this video Justin! You are very inspiring. I am looking forward to this summer when I start making some adventure videos with my family. I'm not as interesting to watch as you are so we probably won't be as successful as you, but I just want to explore places with my wife and kids and share it with others. Have fun and be safe!
That aircraft you saw was an Air Force V-22 Osprey. It's a VTOL aircraft, which means it can take off like a helicopter and then continue flight like a plane. Had a Troubled development but they are pretty cool aircraft. I got to see one in person when I was in the service.
Justin, this is a fun fun trip you took us all on. I would love to go visit that big cross with all the stations around in a circle. What city is that in Texas again? That is simply inspirational. Someday I hope that I can do the whole Route 66 and discover all these Treasures that you're showing us. Thank you so so much!
Some portions are rough dirt roads, I had to go really slow on portion in my caravan, a Jeep Wrangler would be my choice of vehicle to drive the entirety
Awesome little vlog / doco (vlogo ?) ... very entertaining and informative. .. this is what should be on TV instead of all the so called reality stuff. top notch Justin. Five stars.
You are getting better and better at your craft and deserve some professional recognition and some financial backing to make this a full time gig that pays for your excellent adventures.
so many interesting things, I love the History, the buildings,, the stories, one problem, watching this made my wife talk me into renting a car for our vacation, oh well that dont happen till the 27th, dont stop,, im enjoying the heck outta this
GREAT JOB, as always, Justin! Just one minor point - The name of the gas station in Shamrock, TX is pronounced "KAWN-o-KOE". It stood for "Continental Oil Company". It is now merged with Phillips 66 (Coincidence? I think not!), and is now called "Conoco/Phillips".
It wasn't a coincidence you stopped at that Christian display. 😊 God bless you Justin!!! I'm loving your road trip. So many interesting facts and spots along the way.
It's also kinda cool that the cars movie helped inspire people to check out old Route 66 places. Between that and people dedicated to restoring Route 66 places, Route 66 shall not die.
Those are BSCs (big scary clouds) :) sky is usually more green when there are tornados. Love the Route 66 tour, going to share with my parents, they will love it!
Great vlog. Love your trip, thanks again for sharing. On your Randomland question I like them separate to the vlogs as they feel like different shows to me but they are your babies so do what you think is right for them. Happy travels!
Such awesome stuff on Route 66. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us! If you make it all the way to Florida (dunno if that's on the agenda ) come back to WDW!
that was an awesome vlog! Just had an amazing time watching it! I am a huge fan and will watch the videos you make for a long time! Awesome! you made my day justin!!
Gene Tinney stayed 5 days in shamrock when engine in our car threw a rod stranding us there. was summer 1977 ,we were on way from calif to Wisconsin for a family reunion. we lived at thier dairy Queen lol, only thing in town then lol. our motel was decent though .
I love both channels so much. But idk about combining....the sometimes vlog is something enjoyable to watch daily but I'd miss Randomland because its sorta a treat that comes about once a month and I always get excited to see new episodes of that.
cool man doing this is awesome. I didn't know sligman az was out there. I was in AZ recently and didn't know it was there. cool Dino museum. cool road trip Justin
Just got to say, that these Route 66 videos are fantastic ! Thanks so much for filming and posting them. Enjoying them immensely, every night, here in Melbourne Australia.
Thanks for the lively tour of Googie, Art Deco and dilapidated Americana along Route 66! You made my day! Thanks, Justin!
That's an epic picture of Calvary at sunset! Thanks Justin, I get so much joy from your vlogs and your sense of humor!
They just keep getting better and better! Keep 'em coming!
I could never do a road trip like this. All those half-abandoned tourist traps would rub me the wrong way. But don't let me discourage you Justin! Keep going forward on Route 66!
First went Route 66 in 1962 from California to Arkansas. I'm finally getting to see the sites. Thank you, Justin!

Wow! The Cadillacs were so cool! Such fun! Thanks for taking us with you. :)
that restaurant is the craziest thing ive ever seen...ive never seen any restaurant remotely that size. i would love to visit it one day!
Did not expect to see a German doing the challenge. Would definitely love to travel the Route 66 myself.
Thanks for all your work and keeping us all entertained! Enjoy your travels! You should be sponsored by Mountain Dew.
Hey Justin, the first dinosaur you saw was a Postosuchus, its one of my favourite dinos.
Loved the curio gift shop! Awesome opportunity to meet some of your viewers! Poser rattlesnake! 😅
Sooo awesomely epic that you tagged up the Cadillacs! You are 'da bomb diggity lol!
Your vlogs are amazing! I'm from Tx and I loved seeing areas that I've never visited around my state. There's so much to see so hopefully you can come back through the south sometime.

Amazing Justin! Better than any TV documentary. This type of content makes UA-cam so special and your effort it creating this content even more.
I'm enjoying this so much! You're looking at and getting excited about all the weird stuff I would! Keep it up and be safe! :)

That was an Osprey you saw landing. That's a somewhat rare sight considering where you were. It's a military aircraft.
As a whovian I see the statues and am screaming "Don't Blink" but as a regular person those statues are gorgeous.

Super vlog!!! Always keeps me pumped up and happy!!! Rt. 66 is so cool! Love hearing all about the history!!!
Imagine driving the entirety of route 66 with a restored classic car!
Probably really uncomfortable lol
Goals!
this place looks like the cars movie
I'll be doing that in my restored '64 Impala next year.
Five stars.

Great vlog as usual. The building at the end was indeed beautiful.
It's also kinda cool that the cars movie helped inspire people to check out old Route 66 places. Between that and people dedicated to restoring Route 66 places, Route 66 shall not die.
Meanwhile you could do both sometimes vlog and randomland on this channel. It'd just be two different playlists.
