In this video, I smoked a couple leg of lams on the workhorse pits 1975 offset smoker @250 F for 3 hours.I trimmed and seasoned the lamb the night before using a base layer of lemon pepper then coat it with some cumin for added flavor.I basted the legs with a mixture of butter, garlic and chopped rosemary for a couple times during the cook to prevent dryness. the lamb rested for an hour before cutting into it.Juicy and tender was the meat packed with flavor...enjoy🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

    Good video
Going to be doing a bone in leg on the offset for easter. Was planning on doing it about the same as yours at maybe just a little less temp. (130-140-ish) In the northeast we like our white oak and apple or maple woods.

Another great cook my man! I tried smoking leg of lamb for the first time last month. Picked one up at my local Costco already marinated, and it came out amazing. What are you eating them with? I ate mine just over rice haha. 🍻

Food looks Great, That pit is amazing especially how evenly it cooks without tuning plates. I watched your chicken video and the way you were able to cook chicken so well was impressive. I just subscribed I see you have a rec tec 590, how do decide when to use what pit.

Thank you …..much appreciated 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽honestly I use the recteq 590 when I’m lazy or I want something quick but for the workhorse pits, I use it when I really want to enjoy the cooking process of offset smoker, lighting the wood ,the smell of it burning and watching the food cook for hours,it usually takes a whole day so it’s my fun day.
