Great video. These videos were worth more than gold to me when I got my first handheld PC. Because it was my first PC in general. A lot of creators make content assuming that people know how to do the basics. Sometimes that's just not the case.
@@brandonshile8477 Ya I was surprised at how well it ran Cod BO6 in multiplayer and warzone. It will be my daily driver once I upgrade the ssd get a egpu dock and a 12 in 1 dock from JSAUX. :)
Something I wanted to ask you, how do I remove programs and non-gaming stuff from the Legion Space Library? It is getting crowded with One Drive and other applications that don't belong there
Nice video. What I did on my resintalled windows 11 enterpice IOT LTSC that saved me quite a bit ram usage by OS and in gerneral legion feels alot cleaner now without uselss ms apps
I always put a 8 GB of your VRAM because even some games like that doesn’t use too much amount of VRAM so that means if I put at least 1080 P put some ultra settings and put some medium settings. It should keep it stable with a amount of the VRAM

I ALWAY have mine maxxed out. Battery life and fan noise are the only downsides, but performance is all I care about and I want the Go to use all its resources. I always carry a battery bank with me so that takes care of battery life while I am out and about, though I often play at home while plugged into the wall. Fan noise has never really bothered me at all. I know many people want better battery life so they use lower TDP, and that's fine. The great thing about the Go is that we get to choose how we run the system.
@@Daniel_Z35 ABSOLUTELY. It does depend on the game, but yes performance is very much tied to power draw. I was playing a game that usually runs really well but at the time was struggling, and I noticed the light on the power button was blue. That meant that for some reason the power profile had changed and this caused the performance hit. I changed the power profile back to Custom and the game started running properly. As far as heat goes, yes the system does get warm but it has never been dangerously hot. I keep the frame monitor up and watch temps and they never get out of a normal range. Gaming PCs get hot, even small ones, so this is normal. I believe these systems have a 2-3 year lifespan, so while in that window we should just use them and enjoy them and not worry about longevity too much.
@@Jason_P Have you tried Lossless scaling yet? Got the Go recently and first game i'm playing is pokemon scarlet which was at a decent 30 fps then went to a solid 60 with better graphics with lossless scaling, insane software
I got my wife this for Christmas. Have the Ally X and I like the Asus it has way better speakers and the joystick functions moves the mouse unlike legion
Can someone explain to me the Powermodes? I understand that Thermal TDP Performance + OS Power Mode to Efficiency(more power to GPU) is the best combo overall for best performance (source The Phawx). What I dont understand is the first one highest on the list to change through LB and RB and what aboit WINDOWS Power mode when in settings? Please clarify, thanks in advance!
I'm planning on buying the Legion Go in a few weeks but when then I heard that you have to sideload the latest AMD drivers. These are the games I plan on playing on the Legion Go: Valorant, League of Legends, Fall guys, Phasmophobia, Pokemon Unite, The Finals, Counter Strike 2 and Marvel Rivals. Do I need to update to the latest drivers via sideloading and disabling Windows?
Love mine, great console, I hope the 2 gets a much bigger battery and 32 GB Ram by default. The hardware is pretty good, the custom AMD drivers from Lenovo are just too old and they don’t care… I use AMD’s ones
Go into the Realtek Audio Console on your Legion Go and turn off the Omnidirectional Speaker option, it's a toggle switch that you'll see above the equalizer. Thank me later. For even more impact, set the equalizer to none/normal so that it's level across the board and then boost each equalizer bar to 7.0 The speakers are really pretty solid, it's just that the default Windows/Realtek audio options completely deaden them. The Omnidirectional setting is the biggest offender by far, but boosting the EQ gives you a little extra oomph.
There’s no way you cannot install a new driver for to have a 780 M install directly to the Z one extreme chip because my handheld doesn’t support so basically you’ll allow it to have them so basically maybe you jailbreak it or you allow it to access it that that you should not supposed to do that because for me I shouldn’t supposed to do that so good thing I didn’t do done it because it didn’t work so that means That it’s not purposely not meant for it

The whole software was worked fine but now there’s a new software that you can installso some people who installed they got lucky I try and do exact same step and doesn’t work anymore tell me what what about you did you install it for me? Hey , i need ur help if u don't mind , my elden ring suddenly stop working so i ask online they told me there's conflict between ur device ( legion go) and anti cheat , so i tired every solution available its doesnot work for me so they told me to restore ( format ) the device , the game back to work fine but the device its self its doesnot work right anymore the app or pages minimize suddenly on horizontal shape , there is only one power plan balance , no performance or save power , something went wrong when i did the restore for the device , but i cant find and answer or solution for it and thanks

I ended up returning the go for the ally x the Go was so cool but the lack of updates along with the battery and speakers made me return I miss the big screen but too many cons to that one pro

Much better than the new MSI claw 8ai+. It's also $300 cheaper as well. Performance is nearly identical! I highly recommended the legion go!

The Go 2 has a lot of leaks so far and they look insane, dont know how credible they are but this next device is gonna be crazy
I prefer my Steam Deck over this but I still love it! The audio is so bad though so it's not one I can play while the kids watch TV.

amd adrenalin won't open for me, it tells me I've to update it but nothing happens. Anyone else have this issue?
