So, very new to Sissix. I have Cricut Maker. I would like to try this for 1" cut strips. How does the plate work/special plate? What if I wanted to do other size cuts, like 2, 3, 4, etc. I see you get 2 strips at one time, which is what I'm looking to do. Cricut takes longer.
Hello, I think they make a wooden die now that allows you to cut more than 2 strips at a time, I haven't checked yet I'm still in the process of getting back to crafting again. You can definitely use your Maker to the the strips. I have the cricut air which is terrible with cutting thicker materials such as the glittered canvas. But... I heard the Maker can do it.
@@MyCozyCraftRoom thank you! Yes, I have the Maker, but I am not real happy the way it cuts multiple strips. Does 2 passes and having more than one, maybe 2, seems to both up. Looking for something easier. I found the die where you mentioned. Thought about getting it and the cutter, just haven't quite decided yet. Thank you, again!
Not that I know... but they do accept payment like after pay where you can spread your for like up to 6 weeks. A lot of people use it when they buy especially multiple dies.
Hello, thanks for sharing this video, but I'm curious as to how you got those cuts when you used the Sizzix embosser, I must have missed something & I watched it twice, please explain, thanks'.
@@melodyengland4439 do you have Sizzix? I have the link to where I bought my die cutter. Hopefully, it's still available. I've had mine for awhile now. If the link doesn't work, let me know.
@@MyCozyCraftRoom I do have an embosser, I bought 3 different ones rom Amazon, everyone of them, worked poorly at cutting thru anything, my 4th was my last try, it's called a Sunlit, it worked better than any of the others even the fancy named brands, I bought the larger one, so I have plenty of width with this one, it's great. But I originally was asking you about that thinker black contraption that you put the faux on & pushed it thru to have it cut for you, so where did you get that black die thing?
These are simply awesome!!! Can I use your video to make these??? I've made cloth ones, but didn't go over well!!! I'm relatively new to this, so please bear with me as I ask questions... Hello and sorry for the late reply btw! I do Medium heat most of the time especially if it's printed and or pebble faux leather. The HeadNBond recommends 8 seconds, so I try to stay between 8-10 seconds per side. For fine glitter and chunky glitter canvas, I do more than 10 seconds per side.
Hello! What are you using The heat press for if you’re using a hot glue gun for the double side? I really like this way. I just want to know the proper way to do it. Thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial, what heat do you use and how long do you leave it on. The one you use on the back is it the heat vinyl or also faux leather but with shimmer?
I have to check the heat as I have already forgotten about it, it's been awhile now and no, I don't leave it too long unless I'm trying to get a smooth finish. For the glitter part, it's just a glittered canvas, a lot of people call it glitter faux leather.
It's a steel wood die. I don't remember what the measurements are but I'll be making a video about my dies soon to answer frequently asked questions about it 😊
I hope I'm getting this right. Those are glittered canvas. Some are printed vinyl. I used the HeatNBond . Link in the description of the video. I hope this helps.
Espero estar haciendo esto bien. Glitter canvas. Algunos son de vinilo impreso. Utilicé HeatNBond. Enlace en la descripción del vídeo. Espero que esto ayude.
Hey question with the sizzix machine will I be able to first heat press my faux leather and htv and then pass it through the machine? Have you tried that? Thank you
I buy both individually and assorted packs. If you are just starting, I highly recommend the assorted packs especially the ones with different materials that way you know which one you like and hate.
@M Martin, thank you for asking. I totally forgot to add that info. I just updated the description box, if you have any other question(s) just let me know :)

Hello! What are you using The heat press for if you’re using a hot glue gun for the double side? I really like this way. I just want to know the proper way to do it. Thank you.
It's to bond the faux leather/glitter sheets together without it being too bulky and just have a nice finish altogether.
Hello I would like to know with sizzix big shot should I get to do hair clips
