Elmer's glue works too! Paint it on and let it dry a few mins, and then paint your second color. The thicker the glue, the wider the cracks.

Those are beautiful!! You know what would also look cool? If you did a 3rd one and reversed the colors... not sure if you can use the same paints, but if you spray paint the base coat a color similar to the Agave and use a khaki or almond color on top of the crackle medium... then display them with the opposite one in the middle. I think that would look really cool! 😁 You're so creative, all your videos give me inspiration!!!

I love your channel! I was hoping you could possibly help me. In some of your videos, in behind where you sit facing the camera, there is a cross behind you. It seems to be made out of burlap or a type of ribbon with a jewel or something bringing the burlap (?) together. Could you please let me know what I need to look up to find the video on how to make it? My eyes go straight to it when clicking on the video. (It's not on the shelf behind you in this one). Some years ago when I was crafting we used a coat of Elmers glue, then the paint and it crackles as the paint dried

There was a fire that took out almost an entire block where I live and we (I) had to evacuate not just my home but the area until it's safe to return.
I didn't lose anything thankfully but all the homes received scorching and water damage. So I am sorry, it will get to you and the girls soon I hope.

Your so stinkin cute!!!!! You are my daughters age she is so gifted she does displays at a store she works at she had went in the store and she went over by the beding and she made it inti a beautiful. And she gos home at nightand she does homework with the kids and she cuddles then tells them good night and clean the kitchen and then she drops and sleeps so she can do it all over again.
I had forgotten about crackle medium until you started using it in your recent videos. I remember using it over 20 years ago on a wood shelf in my mama’s kitchen. It’s ideal for farmhouse decor. These candle holders are too cute!♥️
another idea you could make into a video is something I made recently for storing qtips in my bathroom. I bought a mason jar, and glued the bottom with e6000 on to one of those glass candle stick holders. then I took an acrylic gem and glued it with e6000 into a pony bead with the point facing down to make a decorative knob and glued it to the top of the mason jar. I took off the twist part of the lid and just used the flat top so whenever we need a qtip we just lift the lid and it keeps dust and dirt out! btw I am in love with that Philly Cheese steak crock pot meal! i have made it twice already and i plan on making it at least once or twice a month! it was amazing!

I would have added a jewel of some sort to the flower/bow.
Id like to try rose gold spray paint, crackle medium, and a color similar to the almond spray paint you originally used but in acrylic. Add some pearls and satin ribbon flowers and some lace flowers. (I use needle and thread to make the ribbon and lace flowers) kind of like a shabby chic look. Do you think the rose gold bottom coat would show through enough in the cracks of the top coat? Thank you for all your great ideas! One of my favorites is the kitchen decor you made using a metal cheese grater. I can find them anywhere.

Cute. Th8nk I would fill bottles with sand (weight to help prevent tipping over) and seal so sand cannot come out.

Have you ever used Elmer’s glue all for a cheaper way to do crackle. It works like a dream. Do not get school glue. It won’t work.

I love the crackle look. I have done this with white school glue and a fan, because I do not have the crackle medum.
