Sir, When suddenly facing a speed breaker, the person who trained me suggested lowering the gear, release half clutch and applying half brake while releasing the clutch for smooth brake cum avoiding jolt inside the car and immediately crossing the bump slightly press the accelerator. Will it affect the engine/clutch? and when the car travels in steep downward road, only option is putting in second gear and sometimes even in first gear and apply slight acceleration, whether any other method suggested?

Hi bro, while step out from accelerator fuel knob automatically closed as per your explanation, is it same applicable for first and second gear as well since car automatically moved without acceleration and fuel not utilized in this case, is my assumption correct ?

Your explanation is very nice for every one to understand, I have one small point to share, as you press the brake pedal, when ABS system gets activated, you can feel a sort of pulsating feel from the brake pedal,. this is the good sign that ABS is activated, so one should not get frightened, and not ease on the brake pedal but should still keep firm foot in the brake pedal. ( sorry if Iam wrong).

bro , if we are going on a speed of 40 kmph... we have a speed breaker , leaving off the accelerator pedal so that the speed gets reduced to around 15 when we reach the breaker (INSTEAD OF PRESSING BRAKE) is good for the engine? in other words using engine braking than foot braking is good ?

Great video, Birla Ji, but think downshifting and hard braking from high speed is advisable only for ABS vehicles; otherwise, you run the risk of skidding.
Engine breaking, intake valve don't close completely when accelerator is not used. It will still run to make engine run using flywheel (idling). Otherwise engine will swith off. Pls correct me if i am wrong.
In engine braking you will save fuel also as the fuel supply to engine is cut and wheels rotate the engine. Instead of brake shoe getting heated your engine will get heated and absorbed by coolant.
