  • @samym8065
    @samym8065 3 роки тому +3

    Very informative vedio, thanks for your useful information. Sometime it may not be always perfect. For moderate single bumper, by slowing the vehicle and takkng into second gear, slowly pressing the break & releasing brake perfectly alright. In case of bumper height is more or multiple bumpers in parallel and in sucession, we may have to go for half clutch while crossing to avoid engine getting switch off or getting tossed. In case of ver heavy traffic full clutch pressing and releasing to be on the move is very perfect. On other hand if we have to stop while for signalling etc, take vehicle to neutral release clutch fully and keep the vehicle break, again traffic moves, put on first on first gear and move. It is just sharing the idea of driving as the clutch plate likely to wear even in full clutch pressed condition if the car is gear position.

    If you are traveling with aged persons or with family you don't need to follow this method. Use half clutch method for smooth & comfortable ride . Damaging clutch plate is not a crime. Always Ride smooth & comfortably

    • @ramprasath4049
      @ramprasath4049 2 роки тому +5

      Yes we can't travel in second gear in most of the breakers.. This will only work for smaller and wider ones.. He is literally jumping in every breakers...or else engine ll stall in second gear

    • @gunagohan9561
      @gunagohan9561 Рік тому

      @@ramprasath4049 yes, while trying to minimise the clutch wear and tear, these jumps will take a hit on the suspension.. I tried this method, the drive was not smooth, it's better to switch to first gear and move the vehicle smoothly..

I'm having Honda Amaze 2 genaration top end so I have cruise control in it, I use that regularly in highways, because of that may be 163000km I have driven but still not changed clutch 😊😊.... I do company service only still now they didn't tell about clutch changing ... 😎😎

    when nearing speed breaks , slow the speed and press the clutch full ( not half ) , then after crossing , back to full clutch.. so no clutch plate wear and absolutely no chance of engine stalling .. this is how I drive , what is your opinion..

    • @vijayendranvijay4538
      @vijayendranvijay4538 3 роки тому +3

      Yes this is the best method... Using only brakes won't work on all types of speedbreakers... Either the car will stall or due to the torque in 2nd gear low slung cars will easily get hit on unscientific speedbreakers.. Its better to be in 1st gear while climbing tall speedbreakers

    • @nv8972
      @nv8972 3 роки тому

      Agreed. That's a kind of neutral stage. I doubt the method told by Birla could pass the speed breakers or potholes smoothly.

    • @prakashg6574

    • @Manikandan-ho8nv
      @Manikandan-ho8nv 3 роки тому +2

      Kuruviran.. what you say is correct but it works only for small speed breakers.. if it is big.. Engines power is required. Where we can't use full clutch.. the other thing is car will jump.. suspension goes for toss..

  • @antojerrord

    Sir your method will create four different problems
    - if you are not crossing speed breakers smoothly, vehicle's suspension will get impacted (especially in full load)
    - bottom of the cars can easily get scrapped
    - crossing speed breakers in 2nd gear will reduce the pickup, more power required to increase the RPM and thus reduces the mileage
    - passengers will be tossed inside the car
    I also have i10 Magna since 2010, have driven more than 1 lakh kms so far

    One doubt Sir, to increase GROUND CLEARANCE, after researching I came to know it can be increased in many ways like:-
    1. Increasing ASPECT RATIO of Tyre
    2. Fitting SPACER under the Coil Spring etc
    I came to know it could impact Aerodynamics & Mileage etc. My question is does it affect much? Like if a car is getting 20 mileage, how much it will get reduced after it is installed?
    There are Lakhs of low ground clearnce car users(Maruti Alto/800, Santro etc.) are confused whether to fit GROUND CLEARENCE KIT in the car or not.
    Need your views on this Sir.
    Thanks in advance!!
