This series had so much potential but unfortunately you can tell the mangaka was starting to struggle especially with the "recruitment/tournament" arc. I feel that if he had kept that out the series could have made it.
Lots of manga struggle. Some get better, and some get canceled. I remember reading early Dragon Ball struggled to get reader. Toriyama came up with the idea of a fighting Tournament to get new readers. And it worked surprisingly well.
I'm curious why they have a trailer for this manga after they cancel it. I felt this manga had a ton, like a massive ton, of platinum under it's foot but I feel the editor that was place on this manga, it was the same editor that got several manga cancel due to their decisions if I recalled, didn't try to push this to being "MHA 2.0" it would have been find with being a more HxH or One Piece level of manga.
It’s a crime against literature this series ended. I’ve rarely felt the way about a book or series as with this one. It a crime that it was axed; I guess some people just have no taste. Edit: Everyone complains about the tournament arc, but I don’t see it. It felt very well passed to me. Edit: Also, PLEASE BRING THIS SERIES BACK! Please continue it!
Is this manga taking some elements from The Little Red Riding Hood? I noticed the trailer of the manga showed Wolf, Girl named Grimm looked like little Red Riding Hood, and the mayor looked like the Lumber Jack. (I don't see anything mentioned about a Grandmother)

Just to add my five cents, while I REALLY enjoyed this manga's design and premise, the main character felt a bit...empty? He didn't have a specific ability/fighting style and his goals were a bit unclear, although I have to say the manga was definitely improving little by little (until it got axed).
The staff probably got the heads up that it was at risk of getting cancelled pretty early on. After the introduction arc it seems like the goal was to just put everything down to see the reaction. The main character didn't have time to become memorable because we were being introduced to the setting first.
They also gave themselves an uphill battle as it were in regards to the difficulty of trying come up a new twist on Grimm's fairytales that hasn't been tried before in the centuries since they were written when they decided to base a manga story on said fairytales, and that probably didn't help them much either!!!
If its not returning then why make a trailer for it? Idk I just don't make sense to me, I don't really know much about manga and I never read this one but I don't want to read it if it incomplete.
You should check it out. Since it was canceled the writer did something very interesting with the ending that shows the direction he would have taken it and managed it give it an ending.
The concept and idea was there but the execution was bad The story pace is all over the place The humor abruptly stops the plot And the story sometimes would take so long in the beginning then rush in the recruitment arc

I read this series and I did liked it sad it got cancelled. I will admit the ending was confusing for me it was very meta in a way.

It's hard to read, cluttered panels and the mangaka struggled with the 3rd arc. He/she is talented tho and hopefully appears in another magazine.

I liked what I read. Could've been pretty great but I think the manga added too many characters and that might've been what killed it
