well, GMC used to be a pure truck brand, like RAM is to dodge. but now GMC is trying to be a mid/entry level luxury brand that competes with jeep. a GMC car would be kind of weird. i do see your point though.
Right!! I would expect a auto reviewer to at least have the name right! I'm sorry but not excuse. If I were reviewing a car I would at least make sure I had the name of it right....
Agreed! You would think autobytel, one of the leaders in automobile reviews would at least get the name of the vehicle right?!! this was a great review, unfortunately I cannot give it 5 stars because they forgot to do editing, LOL!
I borrowed a SLT-1 '17 Acadia today for a 24-hour test drive. Well, I returned it less than three hours later. I drove about thirty miles south directly after leaving the dealer. After about thirty minutes of driving, give or take I was feeling uncomfortable in the seat. The seat felt like it had a bar directly under you with cushion in front/behind that "bar". After what I'd call a short trip it started to hurt to drive this SUV. My passenger was uncomfortable too. I'm 6'4" and 260 lbs and I ruled this vehicle out as a replacement for my 17 year old Sierra.
NoBreyner60 No kidding! My sales guy would only go around a set path he want me to go! No highways nor rough road surfaces. He was constantly talking about how great the Acadia All Terrain was driving and the nice features it had. It took about 10 minutes from entering the Acadia to return it back to it parking stop! Ask if I want to buy it! I said not sure and walked away!
I was setting myself up to buy one, but if I can't drive it for more than thirty minutes then it's not worth it. Maybe others have a different experience with it, but so far my passenger, myself, and a coworker who drove one for twenty minutes don't like the seat's feel. A ten minute drive doesn't tell you anything other than it moves.
fooloof Making a mountain out of a molehill are we? My apologies sir or madam! It's the 'comment' section and an automotive journalist could not correctly say the name of the vehicle they were reviewing. Pretty important detail when you are reviewing a product, many would say. I brought it up, end of story.
fooloof You seem to have some underlying issues, you are cantankerous and argumentative. There is literally one letter in the alphabet difference between 'Bolt' and 'Volt' and yet they are undeniably two different things. You are making a fool out if your self, comment on the video not the comments.
fooloof This is unbelievable! I have a right to comment, that's it. We have wasted far to much time here. There will be no further responses to your childishness.
I have to agree with ECR. He has a right to comment and it is ridiculous that a auto journalist would mispronounce the name of a car he is reviewing.... I want people reviewing these cars that are as passionate about them as I am. And the fact you can even get the name of the car right just shows me you dont really care. I couldnt even finish watching the video
Can't take an auto reviewer seriously when he can't even get the name right of what he is reviewing. Then you have the incorrect info given such as this vehicle having "authentic wood trim"... which is not true at all. What a mess... sloppy review!
If I’m not mistaken, for 2017 and up, the A(r)cadia 😉 Denali actually has authentic wood and aluminum trim. The wood trim accent was updated in 2020 from polished/glossy to a more modern open pore ash style. Not too shabby if you ask me!
that moment when a GMC has a better interior than most of Lincolns, acura's, and Buick's line up.
justin bouche I see no point in having Buick and GMC.
GMC should be in the US. and Buick in China

It's ACADIA not ARCADIA!!!!! why do people keep saying it wrong? Dang, there's no damn R in the name!
There is a city nearby called Arcadia
Autobytel that's no excuse.
Murica...

@1:33 - Don't forget about the Lamborghini Diablo!
no side or mirror turn signal???hmm.
why would it need it? its not nearly as massive as the Yukon or navigator.
Looks a lot like the Terrain
You lost me at ARCADIA
Nice

Again, if your going to do a review, at least get the name right. It's freakin spelled out on the vehicle. Pronounced AH-CADE-EE-AH.
This video is soooo scripted. It's not natural at all. You're basically just talking to a camera, not an audience.
Those A pillars could hide a semi
seriously, did he compare it to a Range Rover?
alvarortega2 I think it was to a Land Rover Discovery he was comparing it to
Who would compare this nice car with a perpetual junk.
@@jalmonte91Yes indeed, he compared it with the Land Rover Discovery. It was clearly stated in writing at the end of the video.
A piece of me died every time he said 'Arcadia'. It's as bad as all the tools out there saying 'Hyhonda'. It's 'Hyundai' gawdam it! Serenity now!
There is a city nearby called Arcadia...so its easy to get the name mixed up.

GMC Durango!
Compare it to a land Rover wow. For one the GMC doesn't have LED headlights or power folding mirrors. Really.

@@FabienTeulieres93 if that wood is "authentic", it's even more sad... Only GM can make real wood look fake. LOL
Thats not real wood.
Coment it....
Older models looked better.
Thumbs down for not knowing what the name is...Arcadia? Lol.
Couldn't dare to continue watching with him pronouncing AR CA DIA instead of A CA DIA
and using words like Scrumptious, Squishy and Oodles, is really A turn off for me.. I have one word for this review...."Yucky"
That GMC truck get a very bad gas mileage
