hey
hey
I guess i think the principal thing we can add to the game is an ingame EDITOR!! i personally done one and its very useful for testing things, i added 3 other gamemodes and im working on slopes!
Cool game
Hello Griff! Great series
What an amazing addition to this tutorial! I would love for you to add in the small details like the jump pads! Griffpatch really can't stop making exciting tutorials!
The ends of levels re the best! Especially when you complete hard levels! It’s so fun! The entire thing: the freezing of screen, the huge suspense, and everything! Awesome work!
Totally agree!
Then if we have a very easy level it just feels like the game is over reacting
Is There RPG 12 Yet?
I like the new editing, the little chapter seperator screen is a nice touch to an already incredibly well made video!
Thank you very much! - I hoped it would help break up the video a touch.
@@griffpatchGriffpatch, pLEASE continue your devlop on to cool sword stuff. I want to use intelligent ai like showcased in Game Endeavors video.
Just in time for 2.2 🔥🔥
I also just wanted to thank you for your contribution to scratch, like every single computer in my school has had your scratch geometry dash run on it at least once lol
I dont know if you now this, but in 1 dec paper minecraft celebrates its 9 year anniversary
Wow 9 years!
@@griffpatch Are you going to make a video about it?
@@Ultra1234noI wonder
I love this! Ive been wondering for so much time to make the end of the level, and here you are! Making the end of the level!
Thanks.
This series is so cool! Every episode gets closer and closer to the actual game!
This looks awesome! Nice job! You did a great job mirroring the original!
I love your voice a lot you should do voiceovers and voiceacting in movies !
Ha :D griffvoice-overs
I know, I am thinking of creating a animated scratch series when I am older.
this was an exciting addition, i can't wait to see what you'll do next!! keep up the good work!!
Thanks so much!
This Is Great @@griffpatch
We've all been waiting for this!!
Lets go!!! I hv been waiting for this for so long!
This looks awesome! Nice job! You did a great job mirroring the original!
Thanks a bunch!
You did it again griffpatch! I never knew this was possible in scratch. Speakig of scratch I spent months scratching my head on how to do this amazing transition.
It is a little tricky to get right, but hopefully we can pull it off. I'm looking forward to seeing the effect working in the submitten projects!
Yep, I'm also expecting to put it in other projects aside from scratch dash.
Man I love this series, maybe you can make tutorial for a level editor just like you did with the tile scrolling platformer series. That way it's way easier to make levels!
Loving the series! I have a few video ideas for the series too, if possible to be made.
1. Icons and Colors
2. Level Select
3. More Gamemodes
4. Level Editor
love the music at outro!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍
Seeing this thing feels so good on the later levels
Awesome sauce!🎉
Very cool addition and adds to the puzzle, Feels a lot more natural with it
I always forget you publish your videos on Saturday and every time I see your new video I'm really surprised (positively of course)
Keep up the amazing work!
Glad you like them! :D
LOVE IT!!! Keep going and making amazing scratch games and tutorials!! :)
W
at the end you can still hit the jump button and it sends a glitch. This tutorial is still super awesome
Thanks griffpatch! I will now use this in my games!!
Thanks for the generous teaching. BTW, you were doing a lot of mistakes today and 8 seconds in scratch is more like 449 hours IRL.
I like the sound effect for the end
Your the best scracher you inspired me to use scratch
This is an awesome scratch tutorial
So beautiful so elegant
Just looking like a wow
Hi Griffpatch, congratulations for the amazing video as always but I have a questioni for you, are you going to continue the RPG series? Because I think it was really interesting.
This is why Griffpatch is the greatest scratcher ever. His videos are so easy and simple.
I'm so excited for the next video
Love the work!
Griffpatch, hear me out.
I just had the BEST scratch tutorial idea.
My Singing Monsters.
Now, that may not be the BEST idea, but let me finish.
So, there are going to be 2 islands, a main island and a cameo island, where every few episodes a scratch youtuber will show us how to make their own monster.
So basically a scratch-youtube collab + msm.
If you wont do it I need someone to do it, because this may be the best idea i ever had.
Happy scratching, a fan that has completed every tutorial series you made.
P.S.: I am going to code this episode now 😊
Griffpatch never lets us down!
Your awesome for doing this! :D keep it up!!!
Love this! Finally I can make a geometry dash game in scratch, thank you. :)
Your literally the god of scratch. Go king
btw, if you want to do squish/stretch with sprites, you can use multiple sprites and combine them at different points, a combined sprite
It's very cool! Thanks for your tutorials!
Glad you like them!
@@griffpatch :D
This is cool!!🐱
this channel is awsome, he spends so much effort on tutorials! keep going!
I do!!!! So glad you like the videos!
Yay! Now I can finally end my geometry dash level with the character exploding… into million of pieces at the end of the level!
Hello, I want to say that u r the best on Scratch! Love the chapter start but here is a question: So first you started to make projects based on tutorials on your main account, then to the tutor account and now back on the main?
Griffpatch you have come very far!! WEll DONE!!!!!!!!
You have a brilliant talent of scratch keep it up
Hi Griffpatch! This isn't very important, but for a split second when the particle clones are recycled you can still see them very tiny before the size gets reset. You can fix this by adding a custom block with run without screen refresh checked and moving the re-setup scripts into there
Amazing!
This is so cool! Now that we have all the basic parts that make GD GD, can you make more modes such as wave, ball or spider
Wow, This Is A masterpiece
Cool 😎 thanks for tutorial
you are the god when it comes to coding!
That thumbnail is FIRE bro I wish the end portal actually looked like that in Geometry Dash 🔥 🔥
Amazing video as always, Griffpatch
Hey Griffpatch, great episode but I had one question :
If we are using this many "check if touching colour" blocks, won't we run out of colours for backround colour changes?
I just thought it was a good idea to ensure that we had at least a few colours to work with.
Yes indeed - I did worry about that... There are of course work arounds we might investigate!
Woohoo,finally
Even though im not making a gd scratch game,i took a lot of inspiration from the series in my other projects,ty
My pleasure - Glad you got something from it :D
Im making something rn :)
Gonna be my second biggest project ever
thanks Griff, your tutorials are very helpfull
hey, another thing i want to mention, the music in the main game doesnt fade out!
only if in the level editor the option "fade out" is ticked, THEN it fades out, if not, the song continues.
@griffpatch is amazing at these tutorials. Unlike other scratchers who do tutorials he explains what the code does and how it works! Also I’m Liverpool323 and can I join your studio, I’m in one of you other ones.
And he mostl does things that can included in many things like some tutorials make and appel catching game and its so spesific you wont use it again but stuff like particles mobile joystick particles saving states can be used in out of context and still work instead of a very spesific thing you wont use again
Would really like to see you try something new instead of scratch. I am a 4th grader and I am obsessed with your tutorials. I had a dream to make my own game and publish it. I needed some guidance and I know that you are the only one who could guide me well. Wating for some awesome *Unity* tutorials.
Noted!
Yes finally!
Hey griffpatch love the video! Just asking can you add a freature to noclip the level?
Hey griffpath i know this is realy spesific but i think this can go to more cases im making a topdown game that has quicksands and player can obviusly sink in it to make it sink i could use a sprite to mask the player but quicksands wont have just a süngle color texture so that sprite could be seen is there anyway to mask out a sorite without masking others or do i need to make alot of costumes?
Can’t wait for the 372 tutorial when we will learn how to remake the entire 2.2 update in 30 minutes!
To be serious, i would really like to see a level editor built into the game, awesome tutorial series!
I really like your scratch Geometry Dash game I’ve been playing it for a while
can't wait for the 2.2 features in scratch
YAY!!!!!!! NEW EPISODE!,,
Luv ur content
BUG SQUASHED!!! (I put set x to speed x at 17:00 instead of change x by speed x). I love the effect and your tutorials are crazy and "Hellow Fellow Scratchers" just makes my day
i love this game!
I might try to make the other game modes like: Ball, UFO, Wave, Robot, Spider, And maybe even the Swing. I also might make: Mini, Dual, and Reverse!
Griffpatch you are amazing keep
It up ❤❤❤
the goat of guidance i got 30 marks of your tutorial thx 1000x bro
YAY!
Wow, this was an amazing tutorial! Maybe in the future we'll get a raytracing series.
There is one! it was on youtube since a year on griffpatches channel!
That is ray casting not ray tracing, I still really like the raycasting series though. Raytracing is RTX. @@elliothansen1951
I could see myself trying to do this tutorial to make my own geometry dash!
the most happy intro
this looks really cool! although, i know i'm too lazy to make geometry dash in full, as there's already a LOT of projects like it.
but, i hope you don't mind questions/requests, but i'd like to know how to make a clicker/tycoon game. (or an autoscrolling platformer, still trying to figure that out)
So Cool
Ideas
1. Free Fly Mode (Enables Free Scrolling for Ship and Other Camera Lock Gamemodes)
2. Moving Objects (Exactly What the name says)
3. Sounds From the game (Usable from Game Files in Scratch using Upload Sound)
4. Level Percentage and Bar (Displayed at the Top of the Screen)
You already have a way to end in style 😎
you can also try it with my favorite one the (more events) extension
I love your vidoes!
Hey Griffpatch! I like your videos!
Wow! Nice progress! BTW can you make a video in which you show all the costumes for the stereo madness level? And I mean the ENTIRE level. You already showed the costumes in episode 6 but you didn't show the costumes at the ship part.🙏😌
I like how everyone that does scratch knows griffpatch is the best scratcher on the platform especially if it's about
tutorials.
Yay! Another griff vid. Also when will you start a new series??
Good question! Possibly one for after Christmas now :) - I'm going to have a think.
@@griffpatch well, now it is!
@@griffpatchCan you please make sword devlog tutorial for the rpg
Hello! For those who were not shown the explosion circle, simply duplicate the code, put it in a When I receive win explosion message, and change the size to 600, I did that, because it did not work for me, for those who did not either It worked for them, this is a possible solution, thanks for reading my comment!
Pretty good 👍 0:11
he sounds like stampylonghead, thats good!
amazing!
Question: Do you still plan to continue the Tile Scrolling (Mario) Platformer Series?
very cool mr griffpatch!
yay!
This is the 10th video of me saying you need to make the 2.2 level in scratch when 2.2 releases in December(maybe)(i think even griffpatch is mad cause he didnt respond last time)
I have not seen this video yet . But i know its amazing
Lets go new vid
hope you add more gamemodes, like the ball or ufo gamemode
thanks for help me to make this game
this is just so impressive but i was wondering could you maybe add some sttyle to the attempts?
"THE END IS NIEGH" great way to trick me into thinking it's the end of the GD series
nice !
