He does say Black Sabbath is one of the best rock bands, and he's absolutely right. Tony Iommi had his hand crippled, and not only did he find a workaround for it as a guitarist; he literally birthed a new genre of music based on the playing method he developed.
My ears perked up when Jimmy said "Over at the Frankenstein Place" and "Superheroes". Superheroes was a deleted song in the US version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, which suggests that Jimmy is a big fan of the movie/stage show. I think he was actually embarrassed there, which is hilarious.
Here's why Yimmy's argument is flawed: 0:13 "Fucking 'More Than A Feeling'... What other songs did they have?" He obviously knows NOTHING about them other than that one song. Sometimes I question Jimmy's taste in music. I mean, his 2 favorite bands are Black Sabbath and KISS. On one hand, you have an incredible and revolutionary band who pretty much single-handedly created Heavy Metal, and you have a shitty, gimmicky rock band who's sole purpose was to sell merchandise.
Every Boston song sounds exactly the same to me. Feminine singing and unimaginative guitar solos. Jimmy's taste in music is mind-boggling sometimes (like his stance on The Who), but I'm with him 100% on this.
I wish they had thought to play the Metallica version of Turn the Page so Jimmy could at least admit he had heard the song, even though it wasn't the original.
Bostons first album is classic. Its one of the first digitally recorded albums and it sounded great on even the shittiest systems. Yes, it was corny and corporate but it was irresistible if you were smoking a few joints

If Sabbath is the pinnacle of music to you then you have a pretty limited taste. I'm a fan of Sabbath but they are nowhere near the best and Ozzie is a mediocre singer. Iommi is the reason Sabbath is great, not Ozzie's limited vocal range. Ozzie's solo work isn't that great and Randy Rhodes is the reason the early stuff was good. Starting to see a pattern? He's not fit to lick Rob Halford's boots.
