I don't know but I find it little difficult Nd it is all about the writters life , there perspective infact there were so many difficult words which is not familiar with the general English Nd I found it little difficult Nd didn't find any solution of it? Hello ma'am! I'm currently in class 11... In ISC board (humanities). I even got many offers from schools belonging to the CBSE board. But I enrolled into ISC only because of the strong base of English, ISC syllabi has, we have ten prose and ten poetry, alongwith The Tempest - William Shakespeare, so you can understand how much I love the Subject- english literature as a whole... and I refrained from cbse as english over there is quite puny, they have no such drama; only having core english.
I'd like to ask you, some good College, which has english literature, in kolkata, along with pass papers like history, psychology, etc.

Ba eng hons is a 3 years course so it is okay if we do that only, is it necessary to study more after 3 years, let me know
Yes there is also a curriculum of 4 years diploma, but this depends on the state and the university.
But for honours purpose only, 3 year curriculum is enough to get you a graduation degree.

It's the same.... but in many of the universities, they provide honours in both literature and language ( linguistics). So for specification, Literature is to be mentioned.

Surely, by taking English Hons your writting skill and grammar will improve. But if it's only for speaking and your target is to crack other competitive exam, you should choose wisely. Because in eng hons u hv to study bit more.
