I am currently having difficulty building a creative instinct in myself. I need to write something so that I can get creative writing abilities. You are just coupling the disciples' name with personalities, e.g. studying "Politics of Plato" doesn't mean at all that you have studied Politics (Pol.Sc.), its not even a scratch, and end up knowing nothing about Politics, these are just fancy gaslighting terms to impress others, l have been there done that, and now-a-days English Literature count for not in real world value, if your mastery over English Vocabulary and Language Fluency is poor.

All these people complaining about paper writings , reading a lot of books , syllabus etc , I would say this is just a part of academics. But if you see English literature , not as a student, rather as a reader , you would find out the aesthetics of it. Literature is beautiful, don't demean it in the name of writing, reading , assignments, presentation etc.
