Sigma 24mm f/3.5 DG DN 'C' lens review with samples (Full-frame & APS-C)

And here it is: the next lens in the 'i' series that Sigma announced last year has finally landed. 24mm is a pretty universally popular focal length, but this thing's maximum aperture of only f/3.5 is not too exciting. Let's see if its quality (and neat close-focussing ability) can make up for it.
