Veganlovlie | Vegan Fusion-Mauritian Cooking hey in my country we called snake beans (bodi). With the curry leaf when you buy them fresh you can dry them in a brown paper bag after they are dried you can put them a in tight container they will last for up to a year it will never lose its flavour . I've been doing this for quite some years now . I also do it with bay leaves and maringa leaves. No need to freeze the leaves.
Thank you Regina. ╭(◔ ◡ ◔)/
Your cooking style is always so methodical and calming! I've never tried those snake beans but I see them all the time! Would love to see more recipes of you using them to show different preparation methods :)
Hi Lisa, I would totally recommend trying the snake beans. They are so versatile and tasty when well prepared. Yes, we are planning more recipes with this vegetable. Thank you for the lovely comment as always. We love hearing from you.

What a nice episode! And what a good idea to use adzuki beans in a savoury dish rather than the "usual" sweet japanese treats... This format is really nice, and I loved the audio! Keep up the good work guys! :D
Wow! Thank you so much for the lovely encouragement. We were a bit unsure about this format, but we are so glad that you like it. We've got some good feedback about this format in general and will keep putting up more videos like this. Thank you again for the love. (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ ❤
I love plantains! I admit I mainly love eating them instead of cooking them, but they still deserve way more love in the kitchen. They're just so satisfying!
Yes, we definitely love cooked plantains, both for the texture and taste. 😃

awesome video!!, I like this format a lot!!! keep doing them, also the others are great :)... I have a suggestion, maybe you could make a video where you show more types of beans.
I'm a frequent client on my local Indian market because their variety, and I always get stuck looking at the beans isle, which is almost 1/4 of the whole store ( the other big isle is rice ^_^) and their is an enormous variety of lentils, chick peas, peas, beans, etc... but I don't know the differences and how their could be cooked... maybe you could make a series showing dishes using them... IDK... it would be very useful and so interesting, maybe I'm not the only one wondering about those legumes :) thanks for sharing your recipes
That's a brilliant idea Vegoralia. We will ponder on how to put together a video tutorial like this. In fact we have a few videos here on different types of legumes and so on and we would love to add more varieties to this. Thank you again for your wonderful suggestion. (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ ❤

Hi Teenuja and Kevin, this looks very delicious and I love this style of video too!
Thank you for the love Jimmy and for the feedback. Lots of love to you too. 😍 - T & K
Plantain in curry... That sounds interesting, I might try it. I like how Mauritian cuisine is so familiar but the small things make it unique.
Hi Kesi, Mauritian cuisine is a myriad of different cultures and cuisines, namely Creole/African, Chinese, European and Indian and it is not uncommon to find many familiarities from other cultures with that of Mauritian cuisine. I hope you try the plantain curry. Do let us know how it goes it you do. Thank you for commenting. ❤
Thanks for another great recipe! This looks delicious as usual. :-)
You are welcome. Thank you for the love. 😍
If rally enjoy this dish you made. I also love the sneak beans. Thanks
You're welcome Rose. ❤ Those snake beans can indeed be very sneaky. 😆
Great wok/stir-fry pan. Where can I obtain one?
Mmmmmmm . . Lots of my favorite spices .. Can't wait to try this recipe . . First time making adzuki beans ... This will be the recipe I use ... do you sprout the beans on the counter or in the refrigerator? . . . Looks delicious. . My mouth is watering ...
Beautiful, please freeze it and send me in Serbia
I love your channels and all the cooking that you do. Do you have a cookbook for purchase??
Thank you for the love. It means a lot to us. We don't have a cookbook yet. We are planning though and will keep the viewers here informed when this happens. In the meantime you can still follow us on our blog too. (✿◕‿◕✿)

I've never cared for adzuki beans, and feel like a bad vegan for saying so, so I'll give this a try and see if it cures me of my adzuki bean prejudice ; ) Like the little black and white, "Yes, Teenuja is really washing dishes" interlude! TFP : )
We love adzuki both in sweet and savoury preparations. You kind of think they would taste similar to red kidney beans, but they are quite different in our opinion. Usually it's Kevin who'd be doing the dishes but he's filming, so he was spared! lol :D
Looks so delish! I love that pan you are cooking in. Where did you get it?
Hi Susan, I will drop the link to the pans here tomorrow. i just need to search for it. Please bear with me. ❤
Thanks darling I appreciate it. I'm talking about the one that looks like a wok. Thanks!
first comment!! lol yay
Yay! 🙌

Are aduki beans the same as adzuki? I have heard about adzuki in japanese recipes and they look alike.
Yes they are. :)
except for the aduki beans ( which reminds me of macrobiotics)....
