☀️ Welcome to this video on how to start a conversation with an Australian in Australia. If you've arrived in Australia and realised it is hard to start a conversation with an Australian, then this video is for you! You'll learn how to start a conversation by learning about what Aussies usually say, what's acceptable and what's not acceptable when starting a conversation. I have many years of experience helping non-native English speakers improve their speaking and communication skills, which includes small talk, speaking with confidence, story telling and persuasion. Thx mate . May I know if you have any courses?
In addition, can you advise me on places where I can improve my Australian language?

We have a course called ‘Understanding Aussies’ to help with what you’re looking for. I don’t know of any other resources that are effective, which is why I made this course. Hope to hear from you! Cheers

It's weird that we finished a conversation but said nothing 😆 Btw, to conclude, do we need to avoid asking people something personal?

It's very strange, but very normal for us Aussies! 😂
To answer your question, I would recommend talking to the person for a while about general things before asking personal questions - it can reduce the risk of making the other person feel uncomfortable.
Some Aussies are very sensitive to some topics; other Aussies are super laid-back (I think this is true in most countries). So, I usually encourage people to be cautious and patient to avoid a bad outcome.
