I had actually given it a try back last fall but the outcome was inconclusive. I thought that using a classifier would make it easier so I made sure to take that along with something to hold water. Trust me, it's tough panning in the surf! 🤣
Nice. Pirates could have dropped a coin or two around there. I have gotten gold at the beach in sc. During low tide where you can see the black line down the beach was sweet spot. I wonder if you done a extraction how much Miro gold is there that can't be seen. Keep them videos coming.
You know, I saw that most of what was small enough to pass through the classifier was black sand. I guess the quartz only breaks down to a certain point. I guess if someone worked really hard they could maybe get a dollar's worth of gold in a day 😆
I was out there a couple years ago and was wondering about the bands of black sand in the dunes. I didn't have a pan with me though, and it's hard to catch gold with fishing rods 😂
I usually do fish over there but the fun has been regulated out of sport fishing. We can't even keep a single flounder regardless of how big it is. I'd rather just go to Clawson's and eat it without all the hassle anyway!

Yep, that may have been the first time I've been over there without a fishing rod. It was still a very fun trip!
