Itteration Cronus NEEDS a BULK turn in option seriously IF you have full stacks let up give him the WHOLE CRATE!
I cook delicious vegetable soup, it makes far more nanites than bread and it's super easy to make. With gamma root alone. Averages about 5000 nanites per stack of 50 give or take.
Yeah... the annoying bottleneck to food to nanites is in handing them in. More nanites per item is much better... making food is something I can multitask. Load up the processors, load the feeders, do some work on the base, come back and grab the stuff from the feeders, load up the processors for the next step, go do some more work on the base, repeat until I have a small stack of something high tier for when I next go to the anomaly. Bread is much better saved for jet pack boosts.
Yeah I feed the creature the 🍲 too. And since I found another first wave exotic station,I'll be parking my freighter and anomaly right outside the station.

indeed, its pretty much all about makign as high tier food as efficiently as possible. with bread and similar tier foodstuffs, cronus acts like he's gordon ramsey

This is a great legit way to get Nanites, I was doing the Fibrous Soup from your last video until I said nah and just duped a full stack of Tainted Metal a bunch of times and refined it.
FYI: In the refiner, the box that says "Begin" isn't just a label. It's a button. I find it's faster to use the joystick to point at it and click it than hold the Square/X button down.

Why? You can get 50,000 nanites in 3 hours using an exocraft to mine Shards driving across a Dissonance world, much more fun. I made 93 million C's using kelp and milk too make Cream treats in an hour.(I used 10 food processors)
Going to see cronos is so time-consuming and tedious I wish they would set it to be something similar to the galactic terminal. And just Nerf out the variations of nanites you get to be more consistent... That's even if you can get on the anomaly because right now it's doing the glitch where you freeze inside and you can't teleport in with your ship
Chewy Organ Pie is what I make for nanites. It's got an incredibly high nanite yield and it's the best way to use up those quickly accumulating cat livers.
Think the point of this is (aside from materials) getting nanites with little effort. No one wants to walk around killing cats all day. That's more of a "If you happen to have it, good for you!" thing.

mystery stew is so easy and takes little time these recipes while yield more are more time consuming overall I feel

Love your videos man! For the nanites, I think I'm just gonna stick to larval sacs though. To ease my conscience about it, I roleplay that the reason the buildings are abandoned is because that aggressive, invasive species took over and I'm a space exterminator. LOL.
Good tip: ignore the spawned creatures, they might sting you a few times, but you can easily harvest all the eggs without much damage, and without killing them and wasting time.
Does this method actually net more nanites than something like cooking star bulbs or making mystery meat stew? It seems like a lot more work than cooking star bulbs and the payouts seemed similar.

I really hope so... the hand in is so painful.
Pilgrim tonic is easy to make by refining star bulb but the nanites yield is not efficient. Kronos only gives max of 150 nanites for one pilgrim tonic. 5/10 tonics given don't yield any nanites from my experience.

Turn it into glass... and then if you can into living glass, that used to sell for a small bundle.
You can also turn the glass grains into flour if you don't want to go searching for wheat plants

Hello Games needs to make trade-in with merchants more streamlined.. as in how you do it with the in-game market
who's idea was it over at HG to make it where you can only give the merchant one item at a time like that? They need to be shoved in porta poty then tipped over while in it, I say.
In this instance, it's likely to make this method of turning things in this way to stop it from breaking the nanite economy.

Don't know if you've already mentioned it but you can place teleporters in your freighter bases now. They only work one-way, but it IS a bit of a time-saver.
