    Thank you for the excellent explanation on how to calculate the velocity! Can you provide a quick explanation as to why the particle exits the cyclotron at this specific velocity, when the forces are equal to each other?

      The magnetic field must be turned off, or the particle must be shielded from the magnetic field at that moment or the inclusion of an electric field at that location to negate the magnetic field would work as well.

      Since the centripetal force is caused by the magnetic field force they must be equal.
