But i think IPS LCD more convenient than OLED which flicker and cause eye strain for long hours usage, but it has better contrast and deeper color gamut. I hope OLED only for M4 pro series.

I do not necessary like the oled Mac, the reason is because we still don't know how well the tendon oled will last, but I do like what comes with tendon sled, the lighter weight, the possible design of touch Mac, hopefully that's a new form factor support Apple Pencil.
The touchbar is very useful, that’s the one feature keeping me from upgrading to a newer model

Oled display will be really good
Using oled on my iphone 13 is such an incredible experience. It only makes me want to have the new tandem lcd ipad pro even more.

Oled flicker? I heard the opposite. Oled is second to projectors when it comes to natural looking displays to me. I don’t think you are referring to oled, probably something different

But they invented it.. because tandem OLED is the same like LTPO 120Hz.. others will rapidly copy and throw away their current version for this.. so what sould you call it, when others brainlessly copy it, and say that our version was crap, this is way better, worth to use this instead of our current version.. that is what you should call they are invented..

@fancycavegaming620 pluss the AI if they loose people from their ES, it will return back to it's BSJ era very quickly. That's why they are throwing whatever they have in to IOS and IpadOS. One of a sudden we have many freedom about customizing our devices.
Enough money sucked out of my bank account now they need to pay off. Definitely I will not buy any MacBook without touch screen and pencil support unless my M1 max 16 dies in someday.

I’m still on the intel family, but I am happy with what I have. I got the MBP 16” 2019, and I got this a couple of months before the M1 macs were released. As a developer, I need specific software, and it seemed like there was no support for them until M2 came out, so I’m glad I went for the best of the last generation. Personally I think the MBP16 2019 was the best of that generation, no more butterfly keyboard, return of esc button, great speakers, improved internals, i9 processor running much better. Very happy with what I’m able to do. I think I’ll upgrade when the OLED MBP arrives, as it’ll be a long enough wait for an upgrade. I do have an M1 iPad Pro 12” as well and it does the job fine, but the miniLED does have its issues, and can be annoying at times when watching videos that have blacks.
I’m the kind of guy that upgrades only when the current device is no longer usable. I still have my iPhone 8 Plus 😂 but I will upgrade this year. I will miss the Touch ID home button though 😢 but I am grateful for Apple products lasting so long, great quality build.

Absolutely we will see an OLED display on at least the Macbook Pros very soon. It would be awesome if Apple would also start putting full featured touch screen on them as well (on at least a high end one for the artists of us that can use an Apple Pencil Pro on it). Think Surface Laptop Studio. Actually call it the Macpad Studio. So, to answer the question, would I buy such a computer. Definitely but it would obviously have to be the replacement for Desktop, Laptop and iPad Pro. It would cost but likely worth it.
What‘s the use of a desktop OS with a touch screen? (Or do you want MacOS look like Windows 8? 😨) And how should an artist use an electronic pencil on a screen that cannot lay flat on the table?
@@nyancorp I always sketch with the screen perpendicular to my light of sight-normally about 30+%. A flat screen, paper or canvas causes distortion.

I'm hoping to upgrade my Ipad pro to that new one with the oled panel, get a 16 pro max phone (for filming art at my desk & starting up some UA-cam channel content), and a Macbook pro one of these days. I've never had any sort of apple laptop so it's a goal (for editing videos/art, etc.) ... I just need to sell a kidney first!
