The Samsung Ring cannot be used with an iPhone and the Apple Ring will probably be not compatible with Android like the Apple Watch. So there is no need to think about wich Ring you want. Your Phone will do the Decision for you.
After you mentioned the Apple ring on a previous video, I was very, very interested. With all these cool features, I will definitely be waiting for the Apple ring! I hate watches, they drive me mad. So a ring would be ideal. Thanks for the info!
Love the ring idea. So many times I don’t want a watch on. Could be a lot more discrete ways to choose a function rather than holding my wrist out and tapping on the watch face Love apple and that is what I buy..great review , thank you
Not only are they late to the game, but their features are almost always unoptimized and frustratingly bad. With the exception of airdrop, Airdrop is great.
I have the Watch 9 and I agree with you. It’s often annoying having to constantly adjust the band because my wrist changes size randomly throughout the day.
From what I understood they are working on that. But then with the watch. The problem is that they would have to invent new wrist bands, with the lasers true the skin then can see how much sugar is in the blood. They also are working on blood pressure sensors to incorporate in the watch. But this what I’ve researched a couple of months ago. So maybe they are changing it to be incorporated in the ring:)
I definitely will be upgrading from iPhone 14 Pro to iPhone 16 Pro Max. Love the idea of Apple releasing a ring. You are absolutely right about having to take the watch off at night to charge it and not being able to track sleep. This would be such a great addition!
That would have been my first thought too. I ain’t married to Apple and I don’t want the logo on my ring. That being said, with all the health tracking info in a ring that would be pretty awesome. If they are going to put a logo on it, it needs to be on the inside of the ring. Then I can show it off if I want, without it being in my face all the time. I’m sure it would be placed on the top side so it’s front and center. By topside I mean, the sensors probably need to be in a certain area to read correctly and if you were to say, spin the ring to hide the logo, you wouldn’t be getting accurate data.
This ring is an exciting possibility as I don’t need an Apple Watch, but would still love some of the features and capabilities that would be included. Before the end of the year I plan on having a new Mac mini as well.
I am hoping to get an upgraded iPad! I use it for notes and work and have been using the same one since college and really need a bigger new one for work purposes.
The issue with the Apple Ring is it is likely not here for purchase until spring 2026 (my estimate). We are getting rumors now of Apple working on it but that means to me maybe 2 years at best for it to come out. So, what to do in the meantime. The only issue for me with the Galaxy ring is the app is Galaxy only. If there was an iPhone iOS app I would likely get the Galaxy Ring now and see what Apple does in a few years (if they do actually finally get one-the issue is iPadOS is still in the mostly tablet only stage dispite the power being their to run an iPadOS/MacOS hybrid OS). So, right now my view of Apple has decreased in recent months. If I got a ring today I would likely get Oura Ring or RingConn since they have iOS compatible apps though I am leaning more to upgrade to Galaxy S24Ultra more than ever before.
Looking forward to seeing Apple’s spin on the ring. I still wear my mechanical watches but hate that I’m missing tracking when I take off my Apple Watch.
Looking forward for the Apple Ring or would they call it Apple iRing. Would be nice if there is a pairing feature if couples decide to get them or a pulse when the other ring paired with is nearby.
Not the hardware alone is important, it's even mite important how they use it better with software.. just remember how every Android manufacturer throwed away their 120Hz display, just to use Apple introduced LTPO 120Hz, because they didn't lose 1-2 hours of battery time with it, they actually gained that amount of battery time, just because they used the display on a different (better) way like Android.. so the better hardware alone if you use it on the same like before is basicaly just unlock a very low amount of the potential.. the unlock the full potential you need to use it better with cleverly modified software..
@@CarlWiganerUK Apple literally stole its sensor idea off another company. The literal premise for the watch lmao and they got sued and had to take it off the market. Case pending of course. But Apple lacks innovation and creativity. If you have an iPhone 11 then you have a 12 and you have a 13 and you have a 14 and you have a 15 and you’ll probably have a 16. Their AI and iOS 18 are blatant copies of Samsung UI. They gave a 20 minute segment about how you can move apps anywhere on the screen. And Apple fans were blown away by it lmao. Cmon now. No Apple car, no Apple TV (monitor) it was scrapped, lacking behind in AI, and being sued by the entire world. When they kicked Steve Jobs out of Apple the company fell apart so bad that they had to call him back to fix it. Now that he’s gone, it’s only a matter of time until Apple collapses.
I know that this video is about the ring, but I hope they’re making good progress on Apple glass, cause I’m honestly more interested in Tony start glasses, than I am in a ring. But tbh prolly get the ring as well
I am a lifelong Samsung user however this year I plan to make the jump over to Apple and am going to get iPhone 16 and I hope to get an Apple watch as well and get more into their products.
I’m looking forward to the apple ring this year, too. Yes it would be awesome to trade the Apple Watch in for a regular watch from time to time. Although I really got used to the glimpse on the watch whether or not a message has to be looked up immediately or can be answered later.
I would get the apple ring as well. Just upgraded to the Ultra 2 watch and love that only have to charge it every few days but would like something thatll last longer and that would be better to go swimming in.
I am definitely looking forward to the Apple ring. I’ll be getting it asap. I would love to be able to track my sleep. I do what you say in the video and charge my watch over night so I’m not tracking my sleep
Been debating getting the watch I got one for my girlfriend and she loves it. But I wasn’t sure if I would get the use out of it to justify the cost. But might entertain the idea of the ring if the price is right just for the health info and I can still where my traditional watches which I like to wear.
Hopeful thinking, but I have been looking forward to the Apple Glasses for YEARS! It would be soooooo good if we could finally get the Apple Glasses early (ie. this year!)
I'd love to see a the apple vision pro at a better price, love the ring you mention in the video. Would also love to see more apple home security, such as security cameras, door & window sensors, movement sensors, etc... all made to be specifically integrated with apple. And while wearing the ring or watch or having the iphone it could make it easier to enter, leave and control security.
I would indeed prefer a ring over a watch because, like you said, I like to wear a vintage looking watch and still track my health. But it looks a bit weird to have two watches on my wrist(s).
Would like it to monitor my sugar levels and let me know when it fluctuates saving me the wearing a patch imbedded on my arm and always been carefull of pulls and infections.
Would like to see useful shortcut touch/tap that can be programmed to turn on Record on your phone remotely or summon police discreetly or security guard. Would also like to see reliable continuous glucose monitoring
Would love to get the ring, but we’ll have to see if the price is as outrageous as the Vision Pro or similar to the Samsung ring. Until then, I’ll just have to dream of upgrading my phone or iPad.
I was thinking of updating to a newer Apple Watch but my AirPods have gone wonky and they are waaaaaaay out of repair coverage. So, it might be new AirPods this year.

Another video of yours that promises to reveal actual product features and then simply speculates on what they might be.
I like the ring idea to wear at night vs the watch for sleep monitoring.
Apple Watch does already
Love the ring idea. So many times I don’t want a watch on. Could be a lot more discrete ways to choose a function rather than holding my wrist out and tapping on the watch face Love apple and that is what I buy..great review , thank you
“What’s your new video about?”
“Samsung. And nothing.”
Seriously. Usually love this guys videos but… what????
Definitely seemed more like an ad for Samsung
Apple's motto: "Yesterdays Technologies - Today!!!"
"We are not worried about being the first. We are worried about being the best" - Tim Cook
Lol we know yall ain't worried about being first... or second... or third...
Just ad long as it's apple!!
Apple takes their time to perfect.
Ive always found they have the tech 1st & samsung do it better. Foldables & ring are changing the trend
Not only are they late to the game, but their features are almost always unoptimized and frustratingly bad.
With the exception of airdrop, Airdrop is great.
I actually prefer the idea of a ring to a watch. I'm not a watch guy, so having access to health data without the watch seems like a win!
I have the Watch 9 and I agree with you. It’s often annoying having to constantly adjust the band because my wrist changes size randomly throughout the day.
Agreed, plus every other feature the watch has is on the phone but better
Yes I never use my watch because I want it for sleep study and then I need it in the day and I get busy and forget to charge it 😂
What health data do you actually need? What is it actually telling you?
@@Its3am I would definitely use the heart rate monitor, sleep and exercise tracker (if available)
Apple glasses for Christmas would be awesome lol
I think if Apple was able to monitor diabetes sugar … they would sell out Apple Ring like crazy.
you need to draw some blood, how else is it gonna monitor your sugar in "blood" ?
The pharmaceutical & FastFood companies would rage taking away their customers.
From what I understood they are working on that. But then with the watch. The problem is that they would have to invent new wrist bands, with the lasers true the skin then can see how much sugar is in the blood.
They also are working on blood pressure sensors to incorporate in the watch.

Yes!
Infrared spectroscopy for optical glucose measurement is still a long way off… a very long way… it’s still in basic research phase.
I like the ring idea to wear at night vs the watch. Looking forward for this on my heart doctor appointments. ❤
Thanks for the info.
Looking forward to the Apple Ring
Me too
Give it 10 years and you will have it 👍
By the time its out, Samsung will match whatever they put in it.
My technoligoy wishlist for next year is defiently the ring, and an Iphone 16, aswell as an audio interface for my music
You KNOW they are making an official Apple Ring! And one day it will be on my finger! 😎
I definitely will be upgrading from iPhone 14 Pro to iPhone 16 Pro Max. Love the idea of Apple releasing a ring. You are absolutely right about having to take the watch off at night to charge it and not being able to track sleep. This would be such a great addition!
I’m hopping to get a new Apple Watch this years.
Cool, what model?
Really looking forward for that ring so I can track my health daily without any discomfort of a watch or a band
Apple Ring!! Finally, some tech for us that love to use classic watches.
Love this comments, got an Oura ring also because of this!
Yes. Interested in Apple Ring and Apple Glasses.
I don't want any logo on my ring.
Yeah looks kinda tacky

Whenever it release I'll obviously gonna grab one for me and my loved ones😊😊😊
If it doesn't give me powers to conquer the worlds, I think I'll pass...
Haha
Funny 🤣
Lol
@@MattTalkTechman, i remember when the watch came out
Yes I hope apple ring includes a sleep aponeia feature
I would get the Apple ring since I have everything Apple. Can’t wait!
Nice one
I want an apple ring to track my sleep as I hate having to remember to charge my watch before bed.
Same
One ring to guide them 🧙♀️
Cost : Just 1 and half Kidney please ❤❤
Thank you for the purchase
The product, I’m looking to get this year is the PlayStation VR 2
I love all of Apple Products!
Same here

What do you mean by this?
*sitting back and eating my popcorn*
I am hoping to get an upgraded iPad! I use it for notes and work and have been using the same one since college and really need a bigger new one for work purposes.
Omg a ring, another addition I’ll need for my apple ecosystem
I'm so excited for an apple ring.
Waiting for the ring in 2024 so I can wear my other watches.
More like 2026.
I either want to run Mac programs on my iPad or have a touch screen MacBook. Preferably run macOS programs on iPad.

What are smart rings good for?
sleep / revovery / stess levels / hearth montitor
Apple Smart Eyewear at a lower price point would be wonderful

Apple Ring for me! But an iPad Pro win would go down well too!

My current iPad Pro serves my needs for now so I won't be upgrading it for a while.
I would like the apple ring for 2024
I will get this because it’ll work, as I don’t have tattoos on my fingers. The watches are highly frustrating
Currently wearing Oura but interested to see Apple ring when it comes out
I am hoping to upgrade my Apple watch this year 2024.
I’ve always had Apple products since my first cell phone at 25 years old. Love Apple products. ❤
Do you think Apple would release it sooner. And maybe it could open our other Apple products
I'm deciding between the iPad Pro M4 and the MacBook Air for my next upgrade. My last iPad Pro was from 2018, so it's time for an update.
I ordered the galaxy watch ultra, ring and buds3 pro. I’m looking forward to the pixel 9 pro xl
