Hi, I didn't use any measurements really other than I cut it all from one 10inch square cake. The head is supported with two plastic cake dowels just to stop it sliding off/moving around in transit.
@@CakesForShow Hi. Can you tell me what decorating board you use in your video and where I can get one. I am thinking of using modelling chocolate to cover the cake, do you have any idea how much I would need? What knife do you use to sculpt the cake? Thanks, I hope mine turns out as well as yours.
Hi, I get my cake drums from design-a-cake.co.uk or Amazon, you should find a wide range of shapes and sizes, I probably used a 14inch square one. Not sure about the chocolate, maybe about 2kg to include covering, legs and tail and other details. I like to have more sugar paste than I need incase I have to redo anything but as the chocolate doesn't crust and can be remolded you may not need that much.
The level of detail is pretty great! Anyone with dachshunds would love this!
Excellent tutorial! Thank you.
What an artist!
Best cake ever!
This is amazing.. I don't have an air brush... how could I do the 2 different colours instead?
Can you please the size of cake and measurements. Great tutorial
Wooow great job, awesome 🐶🐶

Hi. What measurements do you use for your cake? What do you use to support the dog's head?
