- How is it that a small landlocked salmon bring so much joy and passion to anglers? Whatever it is, fishermen will go to great lengths to pursue these beautiful fish. The pursuit of Kokanee doesn’t end when the boat is put away. Anglers will brave the coldest of conditions to satisfy their obsession to catch a silver bullet. It’s our responsibility as Kokanee anglers to share the passion and love for these fish. That way, the next generation can experience the Kokanee Kraze.

Can you confirm for me that although you say in this video "Idaho's premier kokanee fishery" this was actually filmed at Ruth Lake Lodge Resort? I've visited that website - looks amazing! Working on a trip there pending Covid-19, yada, yada.

The first few scenes were from Idaho and then the next few scenes were from Ruth Lake in BC. Several other lakes featured too. I heard kokane is realy hard to catch.
JK 241 they can be at times, but when the bite is on they are pretty easy to catch.
