This makes me happy. I just watched Hocus Pocus this morning, cozy Saturday. And yesterday I was on a pumpkin farm, yayyyy! Not sure! While I love spooky season it's not my year round style if that makes sense! We lean more towards an english countryside/vintage decor style and I love Halloween but not all year round! This year we didn't decorate to the fullest just because of moving in a few weeks but I feel like our new reading room at the new house will definitely be decked out for Halloween next year!

On a second note Michigan also has this late September/early October heat wave. We spent last week at 60 degrees but than from last weekend onto tomorrow we are at or above 80 degrees. Than the cold front comes on Thursday and gets down to the 50s for highs by this weekend.

So good! I skipped out on the maple syrup drizzle that the recipe called for so they weren't super sweet which I enjoyed for an everyday treat!
How do you choose which books you want to purchase to read and for your shelf versus the ones you only want to have access on audible or your ereader?
Ok this is lengthy because I have a process for this- if someone recommends a book to me I follow this process:
1. check and see how long the wait is on Libby
2. check and see the price on Kindle (and/or if it's on Kindle Unlimited)
3. check paperback cost (often times a new book is $16.99 on Kindle and the paperback is like $18 so I'll pay the extra $2 for a physical book)
If a book is ONLY available in hardcover I will 99% of the time buy the Kindle version instead- I am a paperback girl forever.
Otherwise I mainly only thrift/get physical books secondhand (or the occasional trip to the bookstore if I have been having trouble finding the book and it isn't a good price on my Kindle). There are certain authors I will auto-buy from because I love them and I also tend to buy series in physical books.
Kindle ALSO does insane daily deals where bestsellers & popular books are between $2-4 so I check that every single day and get most of my Kindle reads from there. I am not a huge audiobook person so I don't really do Audible too often!
@CarterSullivan thank you so much for taking the time to respond in detail! I have tried to be an audible girl but it's just not working out. I like to see the words and feel the books but it's not always budget friendly to purchase all of the ones I like 😫
