This is the first time I have watched your video and I will definitely look out for more. I love the way you embraced the Autumn and enjoyed the walk in the forest and the pumpkin patch. I still have great pleasure today looking through these books and enjoying the beautiful illustrations. I love to draw anything to do with nature. Thank you for sharing this Halloween with us and how you celebrate it. 🎃💖

I love that children's books can be such a big part of family traditions, no matter how old we are ❤️

@@MyMoonstoneKitchen Thank you for your kind words. I had a couple of poems published in a magazine called Jackie, (which was for young people) here in England, back when I was at school in the 70s, but nothing since. I find that the words just flow from me, maybe like an artist can paint, and nature really inspires me to write. I am 67 in November, and it would be lovely to get some of my poems published - it is a though?! xxx
Hi, Haley, oh , good that you shared your preference for the books of your childhood-so i am not alone. I often thought about being " allowed" to read child books as an adult or an older lady so to speak ( Iam 54 ). My most beloved books from my childhood are the ones of Enid Blython. I still love them very much...
I am absolutely obsessed with you videos, They are like a burst of motivation and positively that keeps me going. From your awesome Vlogs to those satisfying organizing videos, I cannot get enough. Your content seriously inspires me to stay focused and chase after my dreams.

Thank you so much for being here and all of your support 🤗
I loved the Brambly Hedge books when I was a child, and read them all to my own daughter. I'm looking forward to sharing them with my granddaughter now.
I am really moved by the way you spoke about children's book and how it shaped your vision of nature. I feel exactly the same and I am so glad my parents did read me some incredible stories. It's still a support in my everyday life, as it helps me to add a little sparkle of Magic ❤ Thanks for your lovely video !
Aww thank you so much for your kind words, Maud--I'm so happy you feel that way, too! 🥹💕 You are so right about the stories feeling like a sparkle of magic--they always make me feel more hopeful when I'm feeling down ✨ Thank you for being here, friend 🤗

Your videos are pure magic! The fall foliage in your area is simply breathtaking, and I really enjoyed the Mary Oliver poem you shared. And that chocolate tahini bark - it looks irresistibly delicious! 😋 Thanks for another amazing video.
Hi Haley, your videos are works of art! It's been a pleasure to watch them during my favourite season. Thank you so much for sharing. I would imagine it takes a lot of work & effort on your part and it is very much appreciated 😊🍂🍁🎃

I looove Brambly Hedge! And I think my favourite illustrations are the ones of the detailed homes of the mice. I always wanted my home to look like that. I'll definitely try that chocolate bark of yours. It looks yummy and I'm a chocolate person through and through - I'll tell you how it went. Thank you again for your sunshine personality ; your videos bring me joy 💗

Love the spooky Halloween themed music you picked at 7:38 it's so soothing and mysterious, also my favorite children's book of all time is Little Red Riding Hood 🥰🎃🎶❤📕
Oh I loved everything about this video (I love everything about all your videos😄💖)! You live in such a magical better-than-a Hallmark movie -kind of place and your vlogs are the best kind of fall movie for the weekend🥲I especially enjoyed the morning walk in nature (the magical deer!), your cute cauldron drawing, the black tahini chocolate bark (I love tahini SO much too) and the carving + the cutest little pumpkins who live in their adorable pumpkin house😍It was also so lovely to see the children's book you've talked about! They seem so familiar to me, I must have seen the illustrations before even though I don't recognise the books. But now I want them all😂Children's books are very inspiring as they transport you to another cozy magical world so easily, such a simple way to connect with your inner child🥰I grew up with Pippi Longstocking, the Moomins and Richard Scurry's books - I still love them all. I also have a beautiful small book about flower fairies, which I adored as a little girl. This book is one of the reasons I never stopped believing in nature's magic🌺🍂Big big hugs to you and thank you for this cozy start to the weekend😘
Aww thank you SO much, Tiina!! 😊🧡✨ I couldn't believe the deer let me get so close, it was such a sweet moment--and I'm so happy that you enjoyed the tahini bark and pumpkins, too! 🎃 You would LOVE the brambly hedge books, I hope you're able to read them someday--they are so sweet and beautiful! Omg I loved Pippi Longstocking too (now I want to reread it!!) and the flower fairy books you mentioned, and I've never heard of the Moomins and Richard Scurry's books but I just added them to my list! I think it is so beautiful that these stories have helped us see the magic of nature ✨ Thank you again for all of your kind words, and have an amazing weekend!! 🧡

Yay! Another video! I love how nature changes colours and how it slows down after, as you said, busy summer, This Harry Potter shop doesn't look that cheesy as some of them do. I hope you know what I mean;). I love your idea for the dessert. Tahini could be used to make some many things but I didn't know there was a black version. Your pumpkins look so cozy! And the illustrations in this book are just pure magic! Thank you for sharing! Stay warm!:)
Aww thank you so much for your lovely comment!! 😊💕 Yes, I know exactly what you mean about the Harry Potter shop--I absolutely love visiting this one every year, it is so fun! And I'm so glad you enjoyed the black tahini chocolate bark and books 🥰 Have a wonderful week, friend! 🎃✨
I just found your channel and wow, the most coziest vibes, I'm a total fall baby to a d girl you made the most beautiful autumnal vlog. New subscriber excited to support you ❤
What an awesome Harry Potter store! We have a Harry Potter themed coffee shop in Lexington I've been wanting to try. The pumpkin houses are so cute! I made a cat face pumpkin this year. My favorite childhood book is The Little Prince by Antione de Saint-Exupery. I have a vintage copy in English and one in the original French. He illustrated it as well. Thank you for another great video!
Aww thank you so much--I hope you get to visit your local Harry Potter store soon, it was so much fun!! 😊 Aww I love The Little Prince--it is such a beautiful story, and I love the illustrations too. Your vintage copy sounds so beautiful!! Thank you again for being here 💕

@@MyMoonstoneKitchen I’m halfway through Slewfoot and loving it ! It’s giving a beauty and the beast feel but that may change when I finish it ! It’s definitely one of those books that haunts you ! I’ll let you know when I finish it !

Aww Stephanie, your comments always make me smile--thank you so much for your kind words! 😊💕 I am so happy you're enjoying the videos and ideas, that truly means so much to me. I hope you have a very wonderful and cozy rest of your fall season!! 🍁🤗✨
Thank you for this lovely video, Haley! Reading as an adult it is hard to experience the magical immersion that was everything to me when I read books as a child. It may be a stereotype but Little Women definitely had the profoundest impact on me when I was young and it made me an ardent reader for life. Even though I live in Europe I manage to make a pilgrimage to Orchard House in Massachusetts one in a blue moon and it it always makes my heart flow over! 😍
Aww you're welcome, lovely--thank you so much for watching!! 💕 I absolutely love Little Women, and I'm actually wanting to reread it this holiday season if I have time--I always associate it with Christmas and the holidays! 🎄 I'm so happy that you've been able to visit Orchard House, and now you've inspired me to make the trip there someday soon!! Massachusetts is only a few hours away from me, and it sounds absolutely magical! ✨ Thank you so much for being here, and have a wonderful day 🤗
Did your deer friend have a name, or did they keep it a secret? Awww I have wanted to go to that village area you went to. . one day. How cute about that shop. Mmm that chocolate!!! Mmm Mmmmmm. I make a similar thing with chocolate and caramel around Easter with matzoh bread. I must try this version sometime. The mini pumpkins inside the big pumpkin houses is adorable!!! I feel sad I was not raised with that children's book. I have seen them all over the place this year. I never read them to my teens but will to my baby (and also to them, as I still read to my teens from chapter books). I read them Winnie the Pooh and Beatrix Potter's books when they were tiny which this has a similar feel to, it seems. How gorgeous this art is. What a fun video this was.
Aww thank you so much for your kind words!! 😊💕 I hope you're able to visit the shops there one day, they are so much fun! Have a wonderful weekend, and Happy Fall! 😊
So much content in such a short time. Really sets the mood. Thank you always for the inspiration. Love the fall leaves swirling around my legs walking outside. Hope I can find the black Tahini seeds or paste. would love to make the bark in the next couple days. Your pumpkin carving was so nice. Loved it. We usually take one pumpkin and lay on side, using the stem as the nose, then carve eyes and mouth. The longer and twisted the stem, the better. Want to read the book you mentioned. The Harry Potter Halloween scene is so magical.
Aww thank you so much, Jan--that means the world to me!! 😊💕 If you end up making the black tahini chocolate bark, I hope you love it--it's a huge Halloween favorite at our house! 😊 And omggg I love the idea of carving the pumpkin using the stem as the nose--I must try that next year!! 🎃 Thank you again so much for being here, and have a wonderful weekend 💕😊

Wow te quedó esta filmación espectacular. Las escenas del bosque, la tienda que visitaste. Tu Compartiendo tu arte. Los colores se ven bien definidos, la melodía que utilizaste tu voz a la hora de narrar. Todo mágico te felicito. Inspiras a muchos ❤🎃
Thank you so much for your kind words, my friend!! 😊✨ The forest was so magical when I visited, I'm so glad I was able to share some of it with you! Thank you again for your lovely comment--sending you a big virtual hug! 🤗 Have a wonderful autumn season 🍁✨
I am a big Brambly hedge fan also and always wanted to make my cottage as cosy as the tiny mice homes in the books. Your pumpkin houses look adorable! Here in the UK it is called Harry Potter and the philospher's stone not the sorcerer's stone
Thank you for another wonderful video 😊 Slewfoot would be way too scary for me, I’m not good with scary stories. However I’m currently enjoying The society of irregular witches that you recommend in a previous video and I love it 😍 Wishing you a wonderful Halloween 🎃
You are so welcome--I'm so happy you enjoyed the video!! 🧡 Omgg I'm so excited you're reading the Secret Society of Irregular Witches, I absolutely loved it and I hope you adore it as much as I do! Have an amazing weekend and wonderful Halloween! 🎃✨
Aww I hope you can visit it someday!! I just learned that there are two locations (one in Connecticut and one here in PA), so I'm hoping they'll continue to expand and open one closer to you!
@@MyMoonstoneKitchen Yeah! I looked it up. My parents say Mystic, CT is a cool town and they want to go visit too. Road trip! Closer to there than PA here in NH. 😃
Do you know the exact name of the piano music you played while reading the children's book in bed? It's beautiful. I just love your videos. Thank you for sharing with us!
What is the name of the song that was playing you're drawing session? It sounds like something from a Twilight soundtrack so nice and soothing. And where is that Harry Potter shop located? I am interested in going to it.
The song is Phosphorescence by Kylie Dailey! I completely agree, I'm a huge fan of her music 🧡 The location I visited is in Lahaska, PA but I just discovered (from watching Darling Desi's latest video, where she visits one near her! 😊) that there is a location in Connecticut, too! I hope you're able to visit it someday, it's so much fun!
Aww thank you so much for saying that--I am hoping to start a Patreon early next year!! 💕 Is there anything in particular you'd like to see from me on Patreon?! I would love to hear your thoughts if you have any suggestions! Thank you for all of your support 😊✨
@darlingdesi just uploaded almost exactly as many hours ago as this video, and she goes to the same bookshop, a pumpkin patch, and gives some of the same exact book recommendations. Not sure how I feel about so many copy cat channels popping up using these very obvious formulaes. Im guessing some recommendations may be typical due to having the same promotional sponsorships etc, but idk. Too many people are popping up years later from these channels I've been watching for years, and stealing their entire aesthetic. I dont like it. OK, that's not entirely true. I love the different things you added as well. The pumpkin pasta scene was sweet and I like that this video had more cooking, while hers has more crafts. I guess I'll just have to accept that these videos are a big thing and a trend and trends are normal, and it's ok to love you both 🤷♀️
I am sorry to hear you feel that way about my videos. I just saw Desi’s video tonight, and couldn’t believe that we visited the same Harry Potter shop in different states (I had no idea it was a chain!), and also both went pumpkin picking in our videos-it was a crazy coincidence, we must have been on the same wavelength these past couple weeks while filming our videos! 😂 However, I would never intentionally copy another creator’s work--as someone who has been creating recipes, DIYs, and lifestyle content on my blog for several years, I completely understand the work that goes into coming up with creative concepts, and how awful it is to have your work copied. Everything I create comes from the heart, and I only share activities, books, crafts, and recipes I genuinely love. I understand that content creators in the same niche can have overlapping ideas, especially when we’re inspired by similar interests and trends, but any similar activities I’ve shared are purely coincidental.
Just wanted to chime in and say that this happens all the time with fellow creators in this niche and I love it 🧡 We get on the same wave length, read similar books and do similar activities because we’re kindred spirits. It’s just who we are. We’re just a bunch of hobbits who love the same things. We all adore fall and we strive to be cozy and romanticize life and so naturally that is what we show in our videos. I feel like in real life we’d all be best friends! Haley I adored your video! I watched it this evening while doing a spooky puzzle! It was so cozy and comforting. I was laughing over the fact that we both went to cloak and wand! *kindred spirits* I had no idea there was another location but I think yours is actually much cooler than the one in Mystic 😄
@@DarlingDesi Omg Desi, I literally cried reading this-thank you so much for your kind words!! 🥹As a new UA-camr, it truly meant the world to me to read a comment from none other than one of my FAVORITE UA-camRS (still crying) and feel so welcomed into the community 💛 And the idea of you doing a puzzle while watching one of my videos is just surreal-I’m so happy you enjoyed the video!! I laughed out loud when you said my cloak and wand location in Pennsylvania is better, because I thought the same exact thing when I saw yours in Mystic-we’ll have to visit each other’s someday! 😂 I couldn’t agree more with what you said about all of us being kindred spirits with shared interests-and I truly think we would all be best friends in real life too! I think many of us in this niche have struggled with mental health and anxiety, and now share the goal of bringing comfort and coziness to others through our videos 💛 It’s such a positive and uplifting community and I’m so proud to be a part of it! Thank you again for your kindness and support ✨Kindred spirits and hobbit girls for life!! 🤗

Btw, I forgot to mention I am currently reading 'The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches":)
Same!@@Oldzampire

I am so happy to see you reading Slewfoot cuz I am too ! I’m only in 100 pages but loving this dark haunting tale ! I must try your black tahini chocolate bark -looks delicious! Happy Halloween 🦇🎃🦇

Beautiful video! I get so excited when I see an upload from you! Your videos have truly given me great ideas for a wonderfully whimsical Fall season! Thank you for your amazing content! You are very talented in what you do!

I am a big Brambly hedge fan also and always wanted to make my cottage as cosy as the tiny mice homes in the books. Your pumpkin houses look adorable! Here in the UK it is called Harry Potter and the philospher's stone not the sorcerer's stone

If only that HP shop wasn't 4hrs away...I would be there a lot. Lol

The song is called "As I Dream" by Johannes Bornlof 🧡 I'm so happy you're enjoying the videos, thank you for being here!

Aww thank you so much, Anna!! 🤗💕✨

However, I would never intentionally copy another creator’s work--as someone who has been creating recipes, DIYs, and lifestyle content on my blog for several years, I completely understand the work that goes into coming up with creative concepts, and how awful it is to have your work copied.
I couldn’t agree more with what you said about all of us being kindred spirits with shared interests-and I truly think we would all be best friends in real life too!
