Just a heads-up, Shargeek are having an amazing special offer of up to 41% off between the 11th and 12th of July. Head over to their website to pick up a deal today: www.shargeek.com/?ref=7HjWoepX
It looks unique and cool showing the insides, but it also makes it look very suspicious to bring on an airplane lol. It looks like a block of dynamite with the yellow cable being the fuze
Just two questions: 1) When you have more than one device plunged in and charging, does the display auto rotate tru each device or do you have to manually scroll thru the ports? 2) Are the Lithium cells easy to replace?
Sadly these are not user-replaceable, atleast easily. However the batteries should last a reasonable amount of time before you experience issues. However if you do ever choose to try and replace them here's some info. Unscrew the backplate, disconnect all connectors and move the black pcb out of the way, loosen those 2 screws and remove the plate. Use tool to try and remove the lcd plate (VERY HARD, even with the right tools) Push out from the opened side towards the side with ports Then remove the solder on the battery connecters (on pcb) Use light heat to remove adhesive and batteries Get new batteries ready and place in. Currently I'm working on a case for it to hopefully make them easily replaceable in the future.
Hi mate. Great channel. Very cool power bank but as mentioned in other comments not yet available in UK. I just bought the Anker 737 power bank - still very expensive for a power bank at £110 (on discount on Amazon Prime Day). 24,000mAh plus up to 140W charging the thing is a monster. It charges my Legion 7 via USB PD. Also has a smart display. Although it's price is back up to £140 now, I reckon it will be discounted again on Black Friday.
Thank you mate, appreciate that. I did see that anker on prime day and was really tempted to get one in as it looked amazing! That was a really good price as well
Haha I put something soft under my desk to catch them but got a bit carried away swiping them off the desk! At least I didn’t need to find a smashing sound effect 😂
It has a little clock, okay but what is positive about this? If it’s for the timer okay. But a clock needs to be powered 24/7 by either the built in battery or a 3v cell battery or it will lose track of time. Which means - if the built in battery is used - the clock will reset if fully drained.
I ordered mine today, April 14, 2023, and I also got the solar panel... I used code CART15 and I got both of those for $236 before tax... If that helps anyone else... I thought it was a good deal...
A comically expensive looking sci fi bomb. most bombs out there look more shoddy and makeshift than this, and they tend to try and blend in with regular items.
I assume those are 18650 cells and I would like to know if they are self-replaceable. I didn't see anything about it on Amazon which is what took me to youtube to search for a review. Having seen this review, I'm beginning to think that since it was not covered, that they are perhaps not self-replaceable. Appreciate a response as I'm sure many others would appreciate as well. Thanks.
You probably can. There's a tear down video. If you can open this, you can replace the batteries. I'm sure they don't want you to because they want you to simply buy another one.

great vid (as always) the Amazon link doesn't actually work (in UK).. just shows some generic power banks. any ways to buy this in UK (without paying import duty :P)?
ah sorry, not all countries have it in stock yet and geniuslinks puts something similar if it can't find a match! I will ask them when they plan on supplying us in the UK and get back to you
sorry for the delay, you can't turn the screen off via a button but you can set the screen off time. By default it is always on but you can change this all the way down to 1 minute. Hope this helps :)
Its not quite that simple. I know a Philippine person who says their plug gets hot when charging things, the power bank may not go on fire, or the devices it charges, but.... what about power hungry devices causing trouble with plugs and sockets?
I don't understand he plugged it in on the steam deck and it read 9 Watts out but on steam deck specs says it needs at least 45 Watts out to charge. Is there something I'm missing out?
The steam deck charger is 45w as that is the maximum it needs to charge whilst in use, if the deck is charged and idling it needs very little draw from the power bank
Some batteries charge on a curve. That is, they charge at different rates depending on the current battery percentage. A lot of cell phones don't charge at max speed when they are at like 95% for example. Add to that what the Author of this video said. 45 watts could be what the charger is rated at, and might be the maximum current draw for situations where you're actively using the device & charging batteries simultaneously.
Haha that’s a tough one! Which would you get the most use out of? I have been contemplating getting some of the beats buds but just don’t know how often I would use them as I mostly use my studios
I don't quite understand what is steampunk about it, but anyway...Looks great and I've just ordered one, thank you for the review, it was really helpful.
Dont buy from this company. My screen crapped out after a month of light use, so now i have no idea what capacity i have left, and parasitic drain was high. I have attempted to contact shark geek multiple times. They replied initially with instructions to perform a reset, which i did, and screen still buggered. Since that reply and my response advising reset did not fix, many follow ups by me have gone unanswered. I have not been able to instigate any warranty return / exchange / refund, as they simply will not answer. Considering priced as a very premium product in the space - the fact that a) mine broke so early and b) if you do have problem, you have ZERO warranty as they just will not answer if you have problem - do not buy. Their support department is obviously non existent, it is all about sales, sales, sales of what is likely cheap electronics behind flashy marketing and pricing to make you believe it is a PREMIUM product. Will now have to try get consumer affairs onto the case, as well as letting everyone know on as many platforms as i can what they are really like as a company.
@@xXSummonNightXx Yeah i have an Anker from long time ago, i believe Anker have a very good reputation for a long time for good reason. I am looking at the 737 now as well! Anxiously awaiting the M17 R5 AMD Advantage review🎉
the timer only tells you how long each session has been, does not let you manually set a timer for charge.
i hope you didn't break those other power banks pushing them off like that
Haha I put something soft under my desk to catch them but got a bit carried away swiping them off the desk! At least I didn’t need to find a smashing sound effect 😂
Hello, what do you think about the 140w orange charger from Shargeek compared to Ugreen ?
It has a little clock, okay but what is positive about this? If it’s for the timer okay. But a clock needs to be powered 24/7 by either the built in battery or a 3v cell battery or it will lose track of time. Which means - if the built in battery is used - the clock will reset if fully drained.
The timer is only used to track how long your current session (input/output) is. It does not have a 24 hour clock to tell you the time of day.

How long did the power bank take to ship? Just ordered, curious of how long shipping took for yours to arrive? Thanks :)
