A few things I forgot to mention in the video: - you can change the sun position in both Drone AND Replay mode - you can change the Field of View in replay mode by holding RB and using up/down on d-pad (thank you austnsauce for the tip) A more in-depth guide on filming will be coming soon!

For the Day/Night cycle, I tried with the 1.1 beta public branch and verifying the game files, then I remove the beta branch and go back to normal version 1.0, and reverifying the game files and then reboot Steam. I also tried with the drone and replay editor. And nothing work for me. Now I just noticed the mission with the winch at Petrov (boardslide instead of nose grind) and the Indy 540 flags (instead of the GAP flags) at the invitationnal are fixed, but I'm not supposed to be in 1.0 since I removed the beta public branch ? Or did they release the 1.1 for everyone now ?
For sure, I saw some complaints about the lack of a story mode and had a good laugh at the similarity/stupidity of that concept. Truly a game for those who love the steeze, no frills needed. Thins out the bandwagon 😉

For presses/butters, ive noticed that once you pull RT during a press, it "locks in" your press and your next inputs are all the prewind. If you get a press going with some spining momentum you can pull RT and let go of every other button and youll keep spinning in the press.
I used to watch you all the time on twitch and got tired of SXL. Randomly was searching for a snowboarding game and saw this on the Microsoft store. After playing for a day I thought it reminded me a lot of SXL and looked for a tips guide. Wouldn’t you know it, milky is already grinding it. So glad to see your friendly face again man!

In regards to the flipping faster, I was having trouble with this, I could spin on the horizontal axis fast bout couldn’t flip fast. I realized it was because I was holding forward on the left stick before I pressed the rt button and it wouldn’t register when I released. I found you have to press rt before any wind up inputs for it both to work and throw a cork. No more riding around holding left stick forward all the time I guess
You though you had to go full speed the entire time? I guess you've never snowboarded before because half the fun is the chill slalom.. plus rails must have been a nightmare trying to hit at full speed.
For the Meta: you need to do things like a normal snowboard to do things larger. This includes Spinning faster: along with what he says, carve into the jump correctly, not going straight. It makes the arm motion of swinging more forgivable and if everything is dialed in, you can spin well above 1620s Popping off jumps higher: when approaching the lip, hold the jump button, and hold up on the right thumb stick (this makes you lean forward on the board and gain momentum for the next part) then move right thumb stick very quickly down (this makes the character load up the camber of the board for max pop on the jump). Then when you are at the end of lip, release the jump button and down button.
Honestly milky, this was one of your best videos. I love your longer format vids too but this was so digestible, concise and I learned so much I just a couple mins. My only gripe is the controls for buttering don't change when you switch your stance to goofy. Kinda throws me off and I have to make a mental note to input the opposite controls whenever I want to start buttering

Haven't bought the game yet, still enjoing TSG. But from the gameplay clips I've seen so far, I hope they'll add (or mod) baggier clothes, stance adjustments and spring season maps with slush and dirt (some of the things that made Amped and Transworld Snowboarding so unique). With all those deep winter maps it still looks way too similar to Snow, Steep, and Infinite Air.
Something had to be patched or is just bugged with spins now. I will randomly do a 1620 then in the next attempt only a 720, like the windup isn't registering half the time. It's so inconsistent for me that I can't complete any challenges now.
Just to add if you want to spin fast don’t forget to wind up so hold the analog in one direction and as you leave the jump switch analog to opposite direction!
How do you 'powerslide' in this game? like 180 or 360(or more) powerslide? Also can you not nose/tail press on rails? Both seem like quite big omissions unless I'm missing how to do them. Definitely need more time playing this but so far it doesn't match up to Infinite Air in terms of control over your body/board.
If you carve into a powerslide it'll help you turn, and the game will register it as a fs or bs butter if you didn't raise your nose or tail. So you basically just left stick carve whichever direction and counter-steer left/right with the right stick. For presses on rails I think they might be coming in a future update.
I played so many hours of The Snowboard Game & they implemented most of the controls just tweaked a bit but I wished they would make a classic controls for the og players. I have the hardest time nose pressing on grinds. Other than that this game is a masterpiece.
Controls in TSG feel a little better imo because it is way harder to do e.g. triple corks and when you pull one off it feels more rewarding, so a hardcore mode would be really nice to have, but overall very good snowboarding game
finally mastered the triple cork 1440 but now i’m trying to figure out how i’m supposed to do a 900 crail with 0 flow and only 50km/h over a tiny ramp. any tips ?
They NEED a custom camera like in Session. And able to swap sides of rider. You MUST deliver the message to the developers Milky-wan-kenobi! Your our only hope.
Can anyone help with an issue I am having, basically I have xbox game pass on PC where I started to play shredders, but problem is that I use PS4 controller and time to time if I press basically anything on controller it promps me out of the game to desktop with virtual keyboard showing. Can I some how disable the keyboard or smthng... it is so annoying?
I heard they were left out (not sure why) and are coming later. If you wanna do that nose grind rail mission you can kinda cheese it by tweaking your board before you land on the rail and the game should count it as a nose grind.
I heard nose and tail grinds were accidentally left out, but I managed to pull this mission off by tweaking my board before landing on the rail and it counted it as a nose grind.
Someone mentioned that unplugging/replugging your controller while in drone mode should fix it. I haven’t tested that yet but last time it happened to me reinstalling the game fixed it.
Has anyone gotten the sun to move on steam/pc version? Also, I have a glitch where I can't call my snowmobile. I got it during the tutorial but haven't been able to get it after that. Anyone else?
@@motive I was able to get snowmobile after doing quite a few more objectives. In regards to the sun movement. Try going into drone mode, then taking out the batteries to your controller then putting them back it. Or unplugging controller than plugging it in. For some reason it works after doing that lol. Has worked for me quite a few times now

I’m really loving this game. It’s a very polished version The Snowboard Game. But there’s a few things missing from the original. Like spinning in slides/grinds also doing nose/tail press on rails. And I haven’t seen a single half pipe. Like Wtff?? No half pipe??? But small rant aside I’m really loving the game lol I really hope they release some dlc or modders make some additional maps.

Its literally like winding up qnd spinning in real life ....if you wanna go to the left you wind to the right and right when you jump slam that right stick in the direction you want to spin....think skate
i couldnt figure out how to do tricks in this game, the character wouldnt even spin, i refunded it. I was told its like skaterxl and various other skate games, i found that to not be true at all, so dissapointed.
I was thrown off by the cover art(ot looks like some newgrounds flash game cover art almost) ...if they would change it ALOT MORE PPL MIGHT TAKE A LOOK AT IT

I've been trying to download this game since release. Just sits on queued and never installs. Done everything trying to fix it. Xbox app is the worst piece of software I've EVER used. Imagine being a multibillion dollar company, and still having a terrible software.

For those having issues with spinning/flipping faster and corks/rodeos, I made a guide on Steam. Might help a bit.
How do you do the 360 triple cork. I get a 1080 triple or faster spin? It’s so hard to control each one
You basically just have to point left stick downwards but slightly off to the side so by the time you've done the triple you've only rotated 360

It seems to bug out and not work sometimes, not sure what causes it. Verifying the game files or reinstalling seems to be the only fix.

I think you need to use a program called DS4 to get your PS4 controller to work
