Yes, its called Tylo powder, there's also other powders that do similar things such as Gum Trag, and CMC but Tylo Powder is the most common in the UK x

Thanks! I use renshaws chocolate flavoured paste, its a lovely deep brown! I mix it with white sugarpaste to make a lighter shade and give it a bit more stability :D x
Little Cherry Cake Thanks Tracey, do you let the mixed paste “rest” before using? Whenever I try to colour Renshaw or any other brand for that matter the texture completely changes. Usually results in it elephant skinning or ripping as soon as it’s lifted 🥴
@@sarahmiles7688 No I just use it straight away, I don't colour any sugarpaste with gels/colourants as I find the texture changes like you say. I only mix sugar paste with coloured sugarpaste to make different shades. xx
