The structured recipes and the community is what is driving this camera and Fuji. It makes it special and unique because hardware wise all modern cameras are similar on base output.
Thanks man. I am loving this thing already. An A7CII with this X100VI is like a killer combination. Throw a 50 on the Sony and you have a two camera setup to bring to any situation without having to switch lenses. Perfection!
I had x100v for little more than a year but got rid of it and bought A7CII ... It was fun shooting Fuji, but it should be a bit cheaper, like you said. You are literally paying for the hype! I have two A7IVs for my professional work, but A7CII inspires me to go out and shoot more of everyday life. Love it so far! Cheers!
Definitely looking forward to know your opinion on the field. Comparing with a7c II , please let us know the autofocus , image quality and stab on the fuj. Just to see if the new price justifies. Thank you and looking forward to your next video.
Definitely interested in your continued comparisons between these two. I have an X100VI arriving today, but have also been eyeing the A7C2. I don’t own any Sony FF cameras or lenses so it would be a lot more money for me to get started with A7C2 compared to the Fuji.
Put it this way, in the 24hrs of owning the fuji so far, I can say without a doubt that the Fuji could never replace the A7Cii. With that said, the Fuji definitely compliments the Sony by simplifying the shooting experience. The Sony has a premium feel that the fuji doesn’t but it comes close. I’ll have more videos going over this as I take the Fuji out for some street photography.
My opinion, but yes, for two reasons. Since manual focus seems a bit useless on the fuji, AF is the primary shooting mode and for comparison the AI AF in the Sony is literally unreal. With no effort you nail focus all the time. I’ll test the fuji AF and report back. Since I like shooting manual focus primarily, that makes me still very attached to the A7cii as well, because i can adapt some really compact vintage or voigtlander lenses and get phenomenal quality. You can probably do the same with an XT5 but the full frame sensor of the a7cii has insane dynamic range.
@@xhynetuseinovski thank you. So, my silver x100vi just arrived and I’m blown away how pretty it is. But, I have also ordered an a7c2 plus the 40mm f2.5. I feel that is the only real way to choose. It will be interesting for me to compare them in person. I’m grateful for your input.
Placed it during the summit. The summit started at 9:30pm pst and pre orders were live at 10pm but the summit was still going on barely even started. I have to thank @patrickfujirumors for that one.
I’ve had two x100v’s in three years, sold both…..tried to like them just couldn’t.The fixed lens I found boring, the simulations a gimmick, the hype sold them to me,fell for it twice, never again. For what they are they are definitely over priced. They look beautiful, but really not for me……Hope you enjoy it,if not you’ll probably double your money on the second hand market….😂
So far just messing around, the IQ and colors are pretty impressive. Really enjoying the simplicity of the menus too. Plan on shooting this weekend to really get a feel for this thing. One thing I know for sure is that it could never replace the a7cii that i have, only compliment it.

Congrats bro. Just picked up mine. I also have a a7cii. You’re gonna fall in love with it very quickly man. Trust me 🎉

@@xhynetuseinovski 100%. I have been enjoying your photography so much man. Keep the videos coming. Love your work.
The little black thing is to help you spread the “rings” to attach camera strap
Bro thank you! So smart, can’t tell you how many times i messed up my nails trying to put those rings on the camera.
Same 😂
look into a Thumb grip from lensmate, or a regular grip like youe said.
thanks bro i’ll look into that thumb grip.

Just makes you think about the crazy amount of pre-orders that went through that day/night. Keep patient it will come and it will be so worth it 🙏🏻
Ordered mine this evening 😊 so excited.
yeah lets gooo!!

Thanks man. Weather has been slightly prohibiting but within the week I will have one out in the streets!

@@xhynetuseinovski do you think the A7C2 + 40mm f2.5 is worth the extra $1200 plus tax?

How about the a6700 instead of a7cii. Even with the 2.5 G lenses a full frame camera is going to have large lenses and expensive as well
how soon after the summit did you place your order?

@@xhynetuseinovski lucky, i order half hour after the summit. And mine is backordered.
Evf is there a big difference between the two?
EVF wise not really. I shoot both quite a lot and don’t ever think “ugh this ones so much better”
enjoy your camera ... i might dig out my original x100 which is like a dinosaur compared to the new one!
thanks man! took it out to the streets yesterday, crazy in love with the OVF experience.
You put this in your jacket coat?
jacket pocket * :)
the plastic tool is to spread the triangle clips open
why are other brands torturing us when this exists? 🤯
