Can someone explain why Viper kept pushing his tower rush around the 14:00 mark? Nicov was clearly building a siege workshop and had some knights already running around. I just don't see how that could have gone any other way than it did (disaster). It didn't seem worth sacrificing those vills and res to push it when he could have tried to boom, no?

The second weird thing I saw at 18:06 that he repaired the lumber camp, with 4 vills for 4 mins, instead of just placing 4 tiles stone wall behind it!
He spent soooo many resources on this. If he would just sell this wood on market and rebuy the stone it would be a win-win and the 4 vills would not be idle...

@@markjames6812 Well, I'm not the most competent person to answer, but towers are mostly 1v1 strat. In TGs you get easily doubled and towers are worse. Pocket meta is always to get to castle age fast. Incas should go eagles from the pocket in castle age I think.

you mean pocket position i guess? that means your starting location is between other allied players. so you are 'sandwiched' by your allies or you could say you are NOT on an outer starting location.

@@iiillilillliiiliiilirock5458 pocket position usually is safer, yes, as the outer positions are more likely to be attacked early. as a pocket position player you can try to advance faster and get strong units sooner or you might support your allies on the outer positions with troops and/or resources if they are being attacked. the term 'sling' means if you send resources to an ally to help him advance faster.

nili is not the same level as viper, etc. hes just using viper to boost his channel.
Hes not supposed to be the best of players, he provides valuable streaming and networking aptitude to Team Secret. They even made sure to mention this when he first got invited to the team in press release,.
hes just messing with him, because nili usually puts restrictive rules in his tournaments, specially about laming, which ends in a lot of admin wins. Also nili jokes are terrible.
