So much Talent in the Team but wasted in the end
This group was talented for sure but the first group is still the best in my opinion

It was good. Next year, they'll have more returning players and be a better actual team instead of just alot of talent
Just finished the season. This team wasn't as hungry and mentally grounded as the team from the 1st season. The only person who really had an attitude in season 1 was Joe Hampton. They had several players on this season's team who threw temper tantrums all the time

@@jordanh5486prolly better but not compatible to one another, too much hatred and crab mentality. In basketball you need to be compatible to one another, example (harden,kyrie and kd) they’re very good players but not compatible that’s why for me season 1 is much better.
Damani was my favorite!!! He was so good defensive and heart I mean heart!! He showed it tooo! Loved the relationship with father like when he called and told him about the tornado he was in broke my heart! I hope he goes far! He is such a Beast!!!
Damask was definitely my favourite too. Loved the relationship with his dad. What an amazing o, I hope he goes really far in life.
That kid was a coach's dream. He did all the dirty work and NEVER turned on his coach or his team. The team turned around the second he came back.
Man that scene and then hearing Damani's story in the final episode brought me to tears
I love Coach Rob so much!! While it was sad to see him leave ELAC, I’m happy he got a HC gig because he definitely deserves it!
I like him a lot too. He always had so much good to say. Even when things were going bad, he always had something positive to say.

the biggest difference this season was the lack of a leader like deshaun from season 1. he was holding the team together
Mans clearly didnt see Damani impact the game and team everytime he hit the court

I watched the entire season in a day lol Another great season! My takes from this season...
1. Rotations could have been better from coaches this season IMO
2. Washington was better than div 2, he's a div 1 mid major level player. I wish VCU had recruited him.
3. Penn-Johnson didn't dominate like he played at 2 powers 5s. He was avg to be that big on a juco level.
4. Phillips was underrated, he should have gotten better offers, although GSU div 1.
5. Shermar should have focused on grades before basketball..if you want to go div 1, no grades, nobody recruiting you.
6. As another poster stated, this team wasn't hungry like season 1.

@manmanphat2154 which was a surprise since he came from 2 power 5 schools! Also, it's a reason why he's 7 ft and has been to 4 colleges. I wish him all the best but I would be shocked if he go pro.

The biggest issue I saw in season 2 was defense. The defense rotations wasn’t there .. I don’t know if they were in man or 2-3 but often times they were giving up wide open shots . Second thing was you can coach personalities most of them guys thought they were bigger than the program and some players wanted to be the “ Man” instead of playing the role the team needed.

I think with the returning players they have at ELAC, they should do really well this season. I see Shemar Moore hasn’t played so I’m hoping he’s just dinged up and not skipping practices and such. Hope to see him playing soon as it’s very humbling for him to come back, especially with the living conditions he is under.
Desmond Washington seems to be playing really well at UMC. The team is not great but he scored 25 against Northern Michigan and averaging almost 10pts and 5 boards in 25 min per game, not bad. Good for him. Hopefully other ELAC guys will see how he’s doing after staying for longer than they wanted to initially.
Was really nice to see Coach Rob get a job with a real life Paycheck lol. I’ll definitely be keeping up with the Spartans of Moracosta as it’s down the street from a friends house in Oceanside.

I noticed Shemar hasnt played as well after looking at the stats. DC didnt play for a couple games as well (wasn't even on the score sheet0 so maybe they were both nursing injuries? DC has since returned and playing
I believe Shemar is now training for the NBA as he recently declared for the draft not too long ago

I think If his living situation was better he would have played better. I’m hoping things work out for the the dude, seems like a good kid who just pushed along and used for his talents.
Watched the whole season I feel like the guys on this seasons team wanted to project themselves as famous just for coming out in the series and had bigger ego's, that affected their performance and their relationship with the coach and overall their results , they were less hungry since I feel they tought they will be securing a scholarship just for appearing in the show
Well look at the scholarships from season 1 to 2, they didn't get any

I feel the talent was there this year but the coaching was the difference. Coach Mosley started and had the wrong guys starting that should of been rotation guys.

I would say this season has a lot of d1 prospect players. More than the team of the first season, but is just how coach mosely said at the end of season 1. "there is no way that you can duplicate what happend that year. They have a unique love for each other" clearly that was the difference.

Very disappointed with the final playoff game. The team had so much talent but their heads weren't screwed on
Way more of the players in the first season went on to play D1. I think this is mostly because they went a lot deeper in play offs.

I like this coach. He doesn’t succumb to the most talented player syndrome like majority of HS coaches. You’ll win more if you coach whole group and not focus on the one or two big talents. They’re all talented. Fuck the “me” guys.

Ive had several coaches as ive grown up and i’ve always found the calm ones the best.

I think he's just a kid that is 7'1 and got told to hoop. He doesn't have much big man moves. He gets most points in transition or if he is having an easy match up. He couldn't do much against other big men

Bryan Johnson was the biggest disappointment on this team. If took care of busy and had the dog in him, his stats should have been easily 20+pts, 15+reb, 6+asst per game. In my opinion he was weak, undisciplined and unfocused. They should have won a championship only if he would have showed up like a true big man....Sheesh!
Not tryint to hate but i feel like mosley doesn't know shit about rotation lol. Terrible decisions regarding the starting five and playing time of some dudes. I get he's real motivational and all but seriously doubt his coaching ability and understanding of the game.

You are not at practice. That is where 99% of the coaching come in. So don’t assume things you don’t know anything about

Mosley is a terrible coach for those kids. He acts like they should all have as much wisdom as he does from all of his experience when they’re just kids. It seems like he just cares about himself and winning rather than actually helping motivate the athletes from where they’re actually coming from.
he definitely shows off for the camera and likes the sound of his own voice but also shows a care for the kids.
