- An Amulet of Yendor speedrun of Pixel Dungeon v1.7.2a-1 on PC with Warrior.
Using new firebolt strats, it is possible to completely destroy the old world record. Unfortunately, I did not find many upgrade scrolls this particular run, which is much more punishing in vanilla. However, these new strats will definitely allow for extremely fast runs in the future.
Timer begins on first action and ends upon collecting the Amulet.
Pixel Dungeon is an open-source rogue-like dungeon crawler developed by watabou (@watawatabou) with completely randomized levels and items with each run. Your goal is to pass all 25 depths and obtain the Amulet of Yendor, the most powerful relic of all.

Do u know if the run is still valid? Currently the game is on version 1.9.2a with new features like durability of equips.
I was thinking about speedrun it but idk if i should try to find the version 1.7.2a
1.7.2a (which is apparently only one version behind 1.9.2a) is the most up-to-date version on desktop, which can be grabbed from pixeldungeon.watabou.ru/desktop.html
Recording on desktop is simply easier for me, and the strategy should be fundamentally the same for both versions so one shouldn't be invalid. Though, if you want the most updated version that you can play on desktop, you can elect to either use an android emu or the Steam version.

I play it on mobile. I thought it would be same on desktop. I m trying to learn how to speedrun it but is pretty tough. I m managing to get to yog or close around 30 minutes but always ending up with no healings or support items.
I feel like i can do sub 30 but i m not even close to your time lol
I m thinking about reset until get wipe out scroll on floor 1 or 2 to use on shop and good weapon on ghost quest or at least before goo

How do you get the battle mage thing is this normal or shattered?
After defeating the boss on d10, you unlock the tome of mastery for that class and it will become a part of your starting items for all new runs on that class. Vanilla.
@@marshalldotexe ok thx also what happens if I use too heavy of a weapon like if I find a Warhammer and only have 1 1 strength do I pick it up?
@@Halfcertified you can pick it up just fine but youll have an attack speed and accuracy deficit should you choose to equip it

Get it from steam, it costs money tho
Install blue stacks on pc, get pixel dungeon free from the bluestacks playstore
