by placing blocks using the mod that lets you place things like Bedrock Edition they are no longer considered as being placed by the player, so they can provide experience and extra blocks when mining

What's this game? A remake of Metroid 1 or a demake of Super? Or it's own thing?
Metroid Planets by vacantshade; it has a remake of the nes game, a reimagined game with new rooms and snes-demaked bosses, and even another game where levels are built by other users and put together into worlds

when you make a game related video on youtube, it's a good idea to put the name of the system it's on. for example, since apparently nobody has heard of this game, you could have simply put "Novus (fangame) Speedrun" or something.

Much better then the remake to be honest this still retains the classic tone as a whole while giving a super Metroid tone I love it The remake felt to limited artificial for me it’s hard to explain it maybe I just was never a fan of the to much gravity in my Metroid games of gameplay who knows

Btw, i've always wanted to see a remake that actually recreates the motherbrain fight. So stoked to see this. It reminds me of the metroid queen fight, how you get pushed over to the right progressively through each phase of the fight. Gives a real sense of cohesion between the different games.
I wonder how they did the music. Did these audio tracks already exist, or did they use midis of super metroid and redo the sounds? The music sounds like it was produced by nintendo
they are custom compositions made by loeder (snes/gba remixes) and minimacro sound (nes remixes)

If you have oreExcavate, make a contraption with signs and then crouch place these ores, than ore excavate. It's even faster!

@@user-eh5iu2os6c I find a way with pistons, so what u do is u place a torch under where u want to place ur block, then redstone linking to a piston, when the block is placed like shown in the video. Than just hold right click to place the blocks, because u do not want to place blocks on top because it would not count for the xp, you have to place a sign. Than you hold right click and use oreexcavate to mine it all

Does strike not allow resets back to elevators?
Yes, your game saves only when you touch certain save points, and resetting will erase your unsaved progress.
Dare I say, this may be my fave Metroid game over Super Metroid even, but still not my number one. That is held by Metroid Prime.

only one extra energy tank, to survive super mother brain, since the rainbow beams deal over 149 damage but under 199 damage
I don't get what's the glitch exactly? Mining on an edge? A particular ore? Some enchant on the pic?
theres a mod in RAD 2 where you can place blocks like you could in bedrock edition issue is the mod won't consider blocks placed this way to be placed "by the player," instead it considers them as "natural generation," so you get gathering EXP and bonuses from double drops perk
@@marshalldotexe so placing an ore block (using the mod that allows you to place ahead of a block) just beyond the edge of another block and breaking it, gives both the ore and its drop?

Well i play this game now 2 weeks and i get better and better,i have tactics for many of the enemys,like snakes when they not see me,always doing an surprise attack,being in a meele fight with DM-100,killing a necromancer and not the skeletons he is summoning,killing bats/cave spiders from high distance,meele attack gnoll-shamans and be careful with the gnoll-brute's rage attack.I will try to go more far then depth 13 and get more tactics
I always die around 11-13 these cave spiders are the most annoying and the gnoll brute also

Just had a game where I had +5 plate armor and 2 warhammers by like level 12 and I still managed to choke on this one dwarven ruins level in a hallway that was just so freaking long and enemies couldn’t help but flock into it. All those fucking enemies on that stage suck ass
I did a run in 42:02, I wanted to know how to do the damage boost.
You need to touch the left or right half of an enemy's hitbox to gain velocity to the left or right respectively (while **NOT holding left/right** when you're hit/boosting as that sets your velocity to a fixed value instead). A good first area to practice in is the initial hallways past morph, as it is pretty reliable to jump into a falling skree to save a little bit of time. With enough practice, you should be able to find opportunities to damage boost off of enemies throughout the run.
