I've tested Diligent Defense and Resilient suppressors , they are same in decibel rating but the Resilient suppressors have a deeper more pleasant tone which makes it sound more quiet . They both reduce decibels the same just a different tone .
@Kentucky.Tactical we tested on 308 and 300bo . Since we don't have the expensive equipment that's needed we do our test with a group of shooters. We had 5 seated behind the shooter with backs to the shooter . So they couldn't see or know which silencer was being tested . When we shot the 300bo and 308 with the Jolene, Enticer L and Nomad L no one could really say one was more quiet then the other. But all agreed the full size Jolene had a deeper more pleasant tone. But couldn't say one was really more quiet then the other .
@crisincebu I think the Simple Man has a more pleasant tone in this instance but the ping from the Enticer throws everything off a bit. I'll do an update once I get the Enticer back.
I got a Simple Man recently and I'm very happy with it. I use it on my 6.5 grendel ar15 with 18" barrel with no ear protection while hunting. It's very pleasant to shoot with no ear pro (in a hunting situation where I'm only shooting one or two rounds at a time). Foam ear plugs are all I need to protect my ears from the supersonic crack when I'm shooting more extensively.
It's hard to say because this is my first silencer, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Doesn't seem bad, even though I shoot left handed with my face next to the port. Thanks for making these videos. Your earlier video about the Simple Man is what convinced me to buy it. Hardly anyone was making good videos about it.
@@davidlynch1958 I think the Simple Man is the best 7.62 can on the market for the money, as well as the Enticer S (it isn't supposed to ping). Thanks for supporting the channel. You are exactly the reason I keep making videos despite UA-cam's constant shadow banning and deleting subscribers.
The Enticer S has the same ping like a tuning fork that I experienced with the Q Thunder Chicken. My Enticer L and my Resilient Jolene both lack the "ping". I do slightly prefer my Jolene over my Enticer L but they both perform so close that they are practically indiscernible
@@Kentucky.Tactical I have the 556 version and I honestly dont think there is a better 556 can at any size or price point. I haven't shot all of the cans but I have shot the vast majority of the big names and so far I love my AB 556
Love all your videos. I have the enticer s in the raw finish and mine does not ping. I’ve used direct thread and keymo. Ive seen other videos on UA-cam about the enticer s and this is the 1st I’ve heard of the pinging noise I believe. That would drive me crazy.
@ajpeake9817 Yeah I've confirmed it's just something with my sample. It's back with Diligent Defense now. They're checking it out and I'm sure they'll fix whatever it is. Thanks for supporting the channel!
@BafflingBS The ping from the Enticer S definitely skews the results. I couldn't tell a difference in sound suppression but the ping definitely stands out. The ejection pattern on the Bren 2/ Simple Man combo was back at the 4 o’clock position suggesting less gas than the Enticer S. Curious how that was done with a smaller blast chamber, what are they using to reduce the alpha metric.
my biggest complaint with the simple man is that they claim hub compatible but not really because of the blast chamber unless you get an adapter. your review is literally the first one i've seen that has addressed this. i found out right before i bought it and ended up doing the B&T srbs 7.62 because my asr devices fit.
For fairness Resilient does list the blast chamber depth on their website. The can is really optimized for direct thread. I've heard that Dead Air Keymo devices work since the Keymo is an extended mount. Hopefully you're happy with your setup now. Thanks for watching and commenting.
It is hub compatible, I own one with a Rearden MFG Atlas and a Q Cherry bomb. I have also used it with a Rearden MFG FHD with no issues. Do not spread mis-information about it not being hub compatible. If you think the Simple man is short check out the CGS Helios QD

Typically the endcap geometry is what leads to the ping.
It's the only can I have that pings. I'm sure it's not the mounting system. The Simple Man is using an identical mount.
I heard the ping on both cans. Im thinking direct thread would eliminate it.
It’s the direct result of can quality.

It has a great baffle design. If you saw the Simple Man video I commented on how it seemed to be less gassy than other cans I had.
Its traditional in the rear of the suppressor but we pour some secret sauce in the first few baffles.
