@williamboggs1682 they are as quiet or quieter. They are very quiet but very high backpressure. I used to have several videos on them, showing them in detail but UA-cam deleted them all.

@Everything2A It will work on a glock mag lower as well. I just didn't want to buy a dedicated lower at the time.

@brandonhays9900 Not at all. The Gen 3 BRN180 is very sealed up. The gun is a bit over gassed with this suppressor but you don't get any to the face. It was 17 degrees outside when I filmed this so most of that from the ejection port is hot air. My latest full length videos cover the new BRN180 Gen 3 in detail.

@@calcassida3171 yes it would. Not sure if it would block it to the point it couldn't eject but it would lay across the ejection port.

@@caseysmith8831 good question. Yes it does. It's just a half inch off the receiver but it does contact the charging handle when folded to the left.

@aftermath2333 The Griffin Compensator is a flame thrower when added with a barrel length that doesn't allow all the powder to burn. I run 99% of the time suppressed so it's not a problem, otherwise I would definitely look into a good flash hider.

@connormckay9429 Definitely. I've already got a BRN180 Gen 2 in 300blk but I want the Gen 3 300 blackout badly. Maybe I'll sell the Gen 2 upper and upgrade.

I agree, I like the gen 2's modern take of the 180, where the Gen 3 lost touch on that. I do understand the reasons for their changes by sealing off the internals from debris, but the cool factor on the gen 2 is unbeatable imo. I wish I picked up the 300blk upper while it was on sale over Black Friday for like $500. Wondering if I should wait and see if another sale will come around, or just bite the bullet and get it before it's discontinued.

@alexisdetocqueville9964 It's has definitely evolved. It's possible Brownells keeps the Gen 2 going for those that want the AR180 look. The Gen 3 upgrades have taken the platform to another level.

@Wraith35 no doubt. That Griffin Compensator is aggressive, does a great job keeping the gun flat though. I shoot 99% of the time suppressed so it isn't too big of a deal.

@@LoL-pw9ox it's smoother and softer shooting. Lighter, less front heavy, much better balanced. Saying that I really like the Jakl as well.

​​@@markcam1965 galil ace gen2 is smooth with the kns piston. U will need one cuz its overgassed and will throw ur brass 20+ feet, once its tuned its fun too shoot , my pws mk116 pro is right behind my galil ace. I like the jakl but not a fan of PSA ,just prefernece

@PrezUSMC I've had those experiences myself. This one wasn't bad at all. I ground down the weld with a dremel and cutting wheel. Then cut a small slot on each side of the pin to leave a raised spot on the middle of the pin. Used a small pair of needle nose pliers to grab and pull the pin out.

@99cobra2881 I would highly suggest going with the Otter Creek OCM5, especially since you're not committed to cloning 100%. The OCM5 is quieter, lighter, and has a solid manufacturer behind it with a great warranty. I have a video on the OCM5 if you're interested in watching it. It's the quietest 5.56 can I've ever heard.

That would be awesome. Unfortunately there's nothing to trip the sear. I don't think it would work without substantial modifications. You could certainly run a binary trigger though I'm not really a fan of those.

Did not confirm or deny, but I had a feeling it was coming. All I can say about these types of people is that they welcome their own destruction with open arms.

@bigv467 Yes it is, should be included with your powder drop parts. This is a really good press but it usually takes some tuning to get running perfect. I recommend picking up the Braggin Rights Precision tools. Check out his videos to get your press running perfect.

I'm a big fan of it myself. PSA doesn't get enough credit for the innovation. The had some tooling parts wear out and some Jakl's got out that were out of spec which gave everyone something to trash them about. Mines been 100% reliable.
