I really like Motorweek showing off these independent companies that tuned vehicles, like Callaway Cars, Pratt & Miller, and SLP. I cannot wait to see what other gems are hidden away in the Motorweek Retro Review vault.

3.8 on stock tires is incredible for that time! This return of the Camaro was awesome and GM did folks a solid by have the base model pop out with 300hp.
As a Ford man i admit the 2010 Camaro was a 2010 mustang eater. No hate at all on the 2010 mustang. Here we had the 2010 VE commodore and FG ford falcon, While again both stunning cars i Take the FG anyday.
The numbers on this are pretty good obviously especially given the era. Shame the car was so homely. It got slightly better in the later years but this was never a very good homage to the late 60s Camaros. Especially the heinous interior and sight lines.
Chevy miss such a great opportunity to have the best muscle car to ever exist, and decided to prioritize EVs that cost more than a house that no one would ever buy.
GM was crap going down hill before mandates. They had 0 answer to the focus/fiesta ST, focus RS, fusion Sport, Mavrick, bronco, edge/explorer ST, Raptors. All those sold great for Ford and GM had nothing to compete. Look how long the Camaro had 455HP and never had a power train refresh. 8 years! Meanwhile the Mustang went from 420 to 460 to 480. Had a Bullitt, hi-po, Mach1, GT500, GT350. Camaro was stagnant for 8 yrs.

We are entering 2010 era of retro.
Yeah damn not even 15 years ago
Jeez...3.8 to 60 in 2010? That really is something!!
Especially for MotorWeek...
@@naywahn Especially for three pedals!!
No lie. C5 Z06 popping 0-60 in 4.0 seconds from the factory. Cars are barely hitting these numbers 20 years later.

John dresses in appropriate colors for this gem from the "Vaults".
The predecessor of ZL1
But nowhere near as good.

Tesla Roadster isn’t on Retro it’s in the MW Road Test section
3.8. In 2010. That's seriously fast
I was 5 years old when this came out, and now im almost 20. How time flies.
My god we're old I've seen these beauties on the street a lot growing up then a little movie called Transformers 2 came out and the rest was history.
Never knew they made one of these.
They made more than one
@cavindent6973 he didn’t literally meant one
They actually made 500

☕ Happy Sunday ☕
This isn't even that long ago and affordable V8 cars are already becoming a thing of the past
Buy used
Thanks to rediculous governmental regulations, V8s are becoming a thing of the past.
the SS badges are such a nice touch, they should have all been made to look like the classic👌🏻👍🏻🏁
Loved the return of the Camaro. I had 3 of them. 1-SS and 2-ZL1’s
3.8 on stock tires is incredible for that time! This return of the Camaro was awesome and GM did folks a solid by have the base model pop out with 300hp.
This car is awesome and I been growing up with these cars !
Totally nuts. Gm should have made this a trim level.
Hated the blind spots in these Camaros🙄
Definitely better styling for sure.
14 years ago a 11.8 sec 1/4 Mile was a great number on an unprepped drag strip.

I searched the interwebs after watching this. They still go for big money 14 years later.
Why bring up how it hooks up on dr's if you arnt going to tell us the time it ran
Those times were on Dr
If you look closely you’ll notice different wheels on the rear
It literally showed 3.8 to 60, 11.8 at 121 in the quarter.
Technically though a street legal drag radial is a street tire
Long live Camaro!
Can you do a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2
This thing is nuts by todays standards
Transmissão Manual!
Sick!!
It should a came from the factory like this
A fantastic looking car, all beef and muscles, more manly that a corvette and sounds better than a 5.0l mustang.
Why throw the drag radials on it and not give a time on what it ran.
Hell Yeah💪🏾😎
Geez 2010 is retro now?? That’s newer than both my cars 😂
LOVE IT

christ, these are so cool
The fact that this is in retro makes me scared
Edit: the 90's style feel of the video doesnt help either
Well….I guess when you discontinue something - it instantly makes it eligible for the term “retro”. Ha!
When did 2010 become retro? Think I’m getting old.
Sweeet! Love it!
John you can criticize the cars john
I always hated that car. Everyone around me was “IROC!” Give me a Mustang 5.0 225bhp coupe. Vroooom!
I actually like the way this one looks. Not a fan of this gen
2010 retro? 🤨
It honestly feels like it by now

GM really ruined the retro style of the Camaro with updates as time went on.
