This documentary captures the Iroquois origin and cultural importance of the traditional game of lacrosse, and it highlights the making and significance of wooden lacrosse sticks and their use traditionally in modern-day lacrosse. The film looks historically at the Iroquois, as well as the deep impact lacrosse has culturally on the indigenous community. The documentary also presents the deep nature of the traditional game, showing its roots beginning at birth and continuing into the afterlife.

I was so fortunate to meet Alfie and he stated how he has no apprentices, this is a dying art that must be preserved

This is such a great resource about lacrosse, I love being able to find information that comes from the Native people who play. I will have to show this to my teacher!

I've got to figure you have no idea how disresectful and ignorant your comment is. You don't always have to make a comment, particularly when you know nothing about the subject at hand.

@@satman1w It's not about politial correctness and similar shit, my friend, it's about ignorance and disrespect. Did you even watch the video? Do know anything about the Medicine Game, the spiritual aspect of the Creator's game, what the stick that you refer to as a pooper scooper represents? The stick that the Natives bury with their dead you're going to call a pooper scooper. Can you see the ignorance (you obviously don't understand what that stick means) and disrespect there, or did you think your dog shit comment was so clever you just couldn't resist?
