This fight was incredibly annoying. The game gives basically no clues on how to beat this thing and its attacks are just unrelenting, especially if it gets close as it'll just beat you down to almost no health from full without giving you an opportunity to get away or heal. You just can't run fast enough to keep away from it. Just a badly designed boss fight.
Agree, very tough fight! I should've talked more about the setup like I do in later boss fights but ultimately it's about upgrading a good range weapon and having double dodge!
After he finishes his first phase, which is his mostly his "artillery phase" he charges at you before going into melee. If you manage to direct him in a pillar? And blow up a second weak point (5 pistol shots + 2 shotgun shots work for me) you can effectively skip the melee phase.
yeah, I spend 1h dying not even killing half of this shits health. I think I will pass, move on to other game. as you said badly desgined boss fight ! too bad as I dont like bioshock worlds and this one was a great one, game sucked me in (just like this stupid hog was doing before killing me)..
That's tough - before starting the battle, you can save and use Nora (to the right of where you drop in) by the gate! Recommend saving and can't remember if the gate is open but if it is, you can exit to farm mats and create more bullets!

The arena? Follow the way point and call down the hawk then run and jump onto the hawk and then zip line down!
