- Hello! Today's vlog is a Day in the Life style vlog and I have a big announcement in it... You can probably guess what it is from the title. ... I quit my day job to be a full time UA-camr and Mummy Vlogger.

A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.
Q: Do you work? What do you work as?
A: I work in Marketing and PR but I am currently on maternity leave. I am focusing on my vlog while I am on maternity leave and I love it!
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Matt for 7 years, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser is 6, Caleb is 3 and baby Jackson who was born in September 2016!
Q: What camera do you use to film?
A: I film my videos with the Canon G7X and Olympus Pen EPL7.
Q: What lighting do you use?
A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.
Q: Where do you get music from?
A: Epidemic Sound, Soundcloud and the UA-cam Library.
Emily, quitting your job was the best decision ever! I started following you a few months ago, when I became a mother for the first time. My son is now 3,5 months old. You inspire me so much. You always look flawless but you don't pretend that everything's perfect. You are real. You make good advices! I watched your "how I get my baby to sleep" videos and copied your evening routine - and Maximilian goes to bed since then without any problems!
Your videos are special. In my opinion you are the best UA-camr. Every video has personality and good quality. There are so many things I'd like to say :-) Long story short, please never quit UA-cam! I love your videos!!!

Loved your Oscar speech 😂. Not to be too gushy but I started watching your vlogs when I was pregnant and my best friend had recently died unexpectedly. I was home educated so didn't really have any other close friends as sad as that sounds haha. It sounds silly but I used to watch your videos when I was feeling so low, grieving, and to be honest puking up with morning/all day sickness 😅. It was like a little escape with a mummy friend. Your videos really did help me, so thank you.

Petra Underwood I see the benefit for having multiple channels. Attracts different audiences. The most popular you tubers and vloggers have multiple channels. Typically the more channels the more they upload which is a plus 🙂

Emily I love your channel. I am 42 and about to have my 3rd baby but it's been 20 years since my last baby. I almost feel like everything is brand new again and your videos have really helped me to become reacquainted and learn about all the modern ways to parent and all the modern baby buys. I was able to do many things (like making my baby sleep for her self) and I want to say thank you. You are right Emily! Your video changed my life! My firstborn was fed store bought baby food. I just had no clue of how to make it and what to make, and how to store. But after watching your grocery haul and food prep video, with by second child I followed your directions and it changed everything! Started following you about 6 months ago and decided to back and watch some older ones. I’m a Brit living in Canada (Oakville) but my heart is in the UK. My family is in Shropshire and I spend as much time there as I can. I’m so pleased for you. My girls are grown now but I also worked in Marketing and Communications in Toronto. The commute was just awful and it was so stressful trying to juggle everything. They will be little for such a short period of time. Enjoy every minute!
