I'm 69 and I'm a disabled Veteran with PTSD and Functional Neurological Disorder due to a brain injury I received in the Navy. I moved to Michigan from Indiana so I can use cannabis legally to alleviate symptoms such as severe chronic pain. I am a retired therapist also so I declined all pharmaceutical opiates and benzos offered to me by VA physicians. I do Yoga and smoke cannabis. I obtained a medical card even though I don't need it in Michigan. I travel a lot to escape winter. I never possess above 2 ounces because above that is a felony in some prohibition states. I use it in my camper anywhere I go. I hope I never have to deal with being arrested but I'm not going to suffer without my medication. Edibles are not the same effect to me. I hope if I encounter law enforcement it's a person with reasonable discretion. If I am ever prosecuted they will need to get a jury of my peers to convict me. Probition is political. Prohibition of cannabis is immoral and I will fight for jury nullification of my charges if it ever occurs. I served my country and my community my whole life. I'm not going to live in fear. Sugar is far more dangerous than cannibas. Also, in some states like Indiana edibles are an automatic felony because it’s viewed as a concentrate. Under 2 ounces of flower is a misdemeanor. Thus I don’t possess edibles, vapes or tinctures if I leave Michigan.

you should instead look into the carnivore diet to help heal your brain injury. channels Carnviore soldier, dr ken berry (vds carnivore for beginners), kelly hogan, dr chaffee, home stead how, steak and butter gal, dante freedom carnvore = lots of healing testimonies.
Keto diet and carnviore diet are brain healing diets that work wonders. take care

Interesting video. I’ve been full timing for 8 years and camping for the last 50 years. Weed has always been a part of the culture, no matter where I have camped, even before it was legal in any form. I’ve never personally seen or even heard of anybody get in trouble for that in state parks, national parks, resort parks, etc. Not saying it doesn’t happen, I’ve just never experienced it.
I’ve heard people complain about the smell, but they complain about cigarettes, cigars, and even campfire smoke. Humans truly are an odd bunch.

As you said it is 2024 and there is absolutely nothing wrong with anyone partaking in “lettuce” I am 69 and I always enjoyed having some “lettuce” I also like the smell of it. I don’t know if one incident where anyone partaking of “lettuce” has become a violent person it is the perfect means of dealing and enjoying the environment. I haven’t tried anything but the smoking type of consumption but I wonder how the other types are. I am patiently waiting on Pa and our federal government to open their eyes and legalize this relaxing medication . Keep on enjoying your “lettuce “.

Injured Canadian Navy Diver Veteran, heavily PTSD and prescribed. I travel to the US yearly and love that I can stock up just across the border as cash is still king. I drive I-95 from Houlton ME to Key West FL and back as a snow bird and all these years facing that dilemma of where and when to enjoy a lettuce sandwich and in the end no issues, ever, at all. I smoked from Maine to Florida and have met likeminded everywhere I've stayed, campsites to boondocking behind Crackle Barrell (I want that BREAKFAST mmm good). My key lesson is discretion and location must be carefully selected. In my RV, I have a charcoal filter on my exhaust fan and am bothering no one so far, even when I inquire to see if it's really bad. Stay on Big Pine with 2 sqft to my space and never had one complaint, some encouraging words along the way though from one neighbor. Regarding edibles, a body stone is not the same as a head stone and I enjoy both :) Don't want the excess calories and sugars as well. Plus I have to eat like 50 of them little suckers, like drinking Corona beer, why?

But we are med card holders and don't like to draw attention to ourselves due to how others may feel, but if someone is wanting to share or be shared with, the more the merrier. Kids grew up and they had kids, sold business, semi retired and travel now but just weeks at a time. I am now an owner of a Medical Lettuce ID Card. I feel like I’m in the 1970s again, lol. It really has helped me with a back issue I’ve had for the last 10 years. Don’t like to put it in my lungs for sure, just the little chocolates or the drops under the tongue . Great video! I would rather smell lettuce burning than some poorly built smoldering smokey fire with wet wood (that the campers let burn for hours - because no one burns lettuce for hours...). OMG - no, no, no, talk to the budtenders! Don't just buy and burn - ha ha ha! If you find a good budtender, he or she will educate and provide a nice mellow enjoyable experience, without that paranoia. It has come a long way since our young days. And honestly, having it regulated, you know what you are getting. Creativity, happiness, zero anger or negativity, all good. But low"ish" Tea Ache Sea & no paranoia.

I am a fellow RV traveler (Cargo On) and I am also a licensed therapist in NJ where that whacky lettuce is legal. It's strange, I have SO many clients who smoke weed. I just did a video (on my MH Channel) about mental health and marijuana - especially for anxiety. My concern is someone will go to the dispensary and just buy something because of the cute name and it will have a very high THC content and be too strong for them! I tell them to talk to the budtenders - yes, I believe that's what they are called. LOL - Times are Changing!

I will preface this by saying that I have a commercial driver's license, so "lettuce" is not an option for me, but i have no problem with it. Im not a fan of the smell while in an rv park or anywhere for that matter so i prefer people eat gummies, but I also enjoy having a premium cigar from time to time with a glass of bourbon so i keep my judgement to a minimum. We're in Vermont for work right now, so I've resigned myself to just accept that everyone old and young enjoys "lettuce," so we'll all cross paths on the Doritos and Oreo aisle . I survived the 70s and half of the 80s enjoying some lettuce without any convictions (miraculously). The indoor growing was started here in the NW. With the newer strains i could see myself crawling across the floor if i was to try it now.

30 year old here, unfortunately I'm very sensitive to panic attacks and even mid with induce one. Can't do it. I definitely had a learning curve in highschool to figure that one out haha, but all my friends do it, it relaxes them and don't push it on me, I'm all for that! Just because you don't want to or can't, doesn't mean you have the right to tell others what they can or can't do. I'll stick with my light beer but anyone who smokes is always welcomed! (The ones who smoke or eat gummies are less likely to get into an argument/altercation anyways) just my 2 cents.

We were in a park in March/April. We had a beautiful view of Mt Rainier out of our back window. But we close the blind one evening when we realized that our neighbors were "relaxing with lettuce" outside their RV, in line of sight of our window. Nice couple, just wanted them to have their privacy.

I've been a nomad now for almost 4 years and I'll admit I partake in states where it's rec legal. I treat it like alcohol, after a hard day I may want a glass of wine or a little smoke but I do it responsibly and in my rig. So far no issues. My BF needs it since he is disabled and it helps him feel better. He doesn't always want to take pain killers so he walks a lot, stretches and partakes. I wish it would stop having the stigma it does.

I was too sick as a teen to drink real 6.5% beers like my friends so I had to drink 2.5 % ........at parties.
Eventually , my aging brain put a stop to alcohol so I tried lettuc my neighbor grows and found that I got along with my mother in-law, slept with less medication and I even started writing a charity move in 2019.

Edibles have no effect on me. I started smoking again after a bad motorcycle accident and I was on morphine oxycontin and such for years. I can barely function and was losing weight when I dropped to 115 lb I knew I had to stop no matter how bad the pain got. Then I tried mmj. I can regulate the dose to the pain level. Now if it can cure skin cancer and prostate cancer I may be around a few more years. I've noticed a skin cancer stop spreading since I started smoking again. I've had several operations that just make it worse.

I honestly laughed out loud at your story! We live in Missouri where lettuce is now recreationally legal. My husband and I both have medical pain issues. My husband got his medical lettuce card when that became legal here, before it was legal recreationally. Anyway, I'm so happy to run across this video. I was wondering about all this in case we do start RVing soon. Gummy lettuce doesn't work as well for my husbands aches and pains compared to the more natural type. This was great information and was fun to watch. We live on 5 acres about 40 miles south of St. Louis. If you ever want to free overnight camp here, we have room. We can supply the lettuce. :)
