    I just built a pro street with dual carbs I took paper clips custom bent them into a set of fuel lines they terminate in between the engine and fire wall before gluing them on took a red sharpie and colored them red it made a very real looking set of anodized red fuel lines, details!!👍

    With a little cutting and filing, male and female spade connectors can be made into good seat belt buckles

    I'm working on a 1932 Chevy roadster old metal kit (Hubley). Your hints and tips are extremely helpful! Wow. It's been a bear trying to find good equivalents to increase accuracy of the kit. Thank you! I'm still trying to figure out how to make the seats and interior doors look like material, rather than plastic, or just bare metal. Hubley kits are rather old, but are crying out for detail.

      Go to a place like "Hobby Lobby" and either but cheap material or leather from their leather section. Contact cement on to the door cards, headliner and seats. If not and if you have a color printer. Look up old seat cover material. Print if ang glue it down.

    Did the Riviera hose really go from the radiator to the firewall ??

    • @JoeFortunato009
      @JoeFortunato009  9 місяців тому

      Of course not. The top hose went to the water pump, the bottom hose went to the engine block. Another hose out of the water pump went to the heater core behind the firewall but running those hoses was a waste because except for the top hose, you don't see them in a model. Just like the fuel lines. You don't even see them on a model.

    Joe, does the Duve tape come in different colors?

      I don't know? The Mrs. works for a company that makes tapes of all types. That's the only color she found. She did find this chrome tape used for duct work, makes excellent chrome tape for trim.

    what is hobby lobby?

    • @Dame.Duchess
      @Dame.Duchess 9 місяців тому

      it's some hobby chain store in the US owned by ultra religious homophobic nutters

    • @JoeFortunato009
      @JoeFortunato009  5 місяців тому

      Or people practicing their religious freedom that nazi's and the like enjoy calling names like we're in 5th grade. I thought we had freedoms to practice religion without any consequences? Meanwhile people who also have the freedom of speech better serve humanity with this simple quote... If it bothers you, ignore it".

      Hobby lobby is a hobby store with lots of craft stuff. They have seasonal things for every holiday. They sell all kinds of dried flowers, signs and posters, model cars, lots of different paints, fabric. They are all over the Midwest and the south. If you don’t have a hobby lobby, Michael’s is very close to it. I’m sure there are a couple others in different parts of the country that we don’t have here in Alabama.

    Holy shit! Genius! But hey! What did the military kit provide to pull off the look out of the box?

    • @JoeFortunato009
      @JoeFortunato009  11 місяців тому

      They didn't provide anything. The hoses on the hood I just drilled and added. The reel and the lines were empty. I was going to use cord until I went to Hobby Lobby bracelet section and found the rubber hoses which are for stretch bracelets.

      I’m just getting back into the hobby for a few decades. Doing some research watching lots of UA-cam videos. I love your content and love the tips, but my goodness it gave me a headache, watching you shake your phone all around and try to put things into focus. Put a piece of tape under your phone and lean it up against a box or a glass or a mug or something!
