Plus if they shanked a 13-0 FSU team ranked #4 at the time of the game, they weren’t gonna jump a 12-1 UL team from like 9 to 4 from beating a fsu team with no qb

Conference games are goin gto be good for rating/ placing the playoff seats. Most times, losers of conference games will still be in the playoffs. With no divisions you have the top two teams in the conference. Do you really see putting the third place conference team to go it over number 2 just because they lost to number 1? If not just put all three or more in

It's like all the sports reporters lost their memories when Texas moved to the SEC. If I recall Texas is about doing less with more time after time. Especially after the reporters start drinking the "Texas is back" koolaid.

Then there’s the match up with UF who might have a bad record when we play but will be better than their record. Like they could be 4-7 but as good as most 7 win teams
With Ohio State and Oregon possibly going undefeated before they meet (the REAL #1 and #2 meeting), there is NO way in hell Texas will ever be ranked that high, especially after that week 2 loss! Everyone is doubting Michigan just like y’all did when we rolled into Tuscaloosa last year…same result afterward, bank on it 🤘🏼🤨🤘🏼

False, because we’re not talking about the loser of 2-3 games still making it…you’re competing against EVERY conference! 5 champions are making it, followed by 2-3 teams going 11-1 or 10-2, and maybe a 9-3 teams squeaks in…so with ALL these games, maybe 1-2 on the losing end get in!

If a team was capable of beating 4 top 10 teams back to back to back, they would have been better off with the old playoff. Just because you had a 10-2 record doesn't mean your chances of winning the natty isn't zero, just like before.

Michigan was trash before Stalions.....they are trash after. The Michigan/OSU game means nothing this year because Michigan has no shot at the playoffs. OSU by 50 in that game. You should have highlighted the OSU/Oregon game. That's the far bigger game with playoff implications.
