thanks for doing this tag! it really is a hard one! it's so interesting to see everyone's different answers, really tells you a lot about their reading habits!
I don't care if the author is male or female either. I'd have to consult my book list and count them up to find out which I read most. Love you entrances and exits--very entertaining!

I'm just jealous of your everything: books, looks, etc.
I've read 5 books a week and that wasn't because I was winning at life, quite the opposite actually. For me reading is pure escapism and I am a rather obsessive reader (once I start a book I need to finish it). Reading that much usually means I have no social live and am ignoring important but difficult stuff that needs to be done. Though I too would rather read 5 books a week instead of only 5 pages a day.
For me as well, reading is escapism. It helps me. No matter if I’m stressed, happy or upset. I can read up to 10 books a week, depending on what happens. I read all 7 Harry Potter books in 3 days. It took me 1 month to read the The Scorch Trials 😂
I answered so many of these the same! So much yes with being a bookseller! I have a dream of owning a little bookshop/bakery/cafe combo one day....in Ireland. It will happen!
Totally agree on the tv into books answer! UGH imagine your favorite books turning into a show than a movie. More time to enjoy the story & involve more detail 😭
HAHAHA, "I love the smell of them!..... actually this one smells gross because I got it from a library booksale" Omg I died! XD And I have no idea how people fly through ebooks!! I feel like I read them 100 times slower or I feel like I'm not even reading an actual book lol it's just complicated for me hahaha
As someone who does read about 4-5 books a week (lots of downtime at work between tasks) I will say that my TBR pile is still huge! That's a beautiful thing about books, there is always tons more adventures waiting!!
Hardbacks are cheaper if you buy them on b&n's website versus in store (actually, pretty much the same cost as amazon). Also, b&n lists secondhand/indie stores (like amazon) where you buy the book new/used for cheaper.
when my brother and I were younger we used to have reading contests and see who could read the most books in a week, and my bro would always win. At times he would read at least a book a day, so he would end up reading like 10 books a week and I would read around 6 - but hs has taken over and neither of us read as much
"So take that, would you rather question!" Hahaha. I'm the same way. I love all the genres and if I could read 5 books in one week? Holy crap. I love having physical books. The only books i really have ebooks of are comic books. May I just say how happy your shelf full of books makes me, every time I see it in your videos? Booksssssssss.
I can't say I prefer trilogies to stand alones but I agree wholeheartedly with everything else especially the physical book vs. eBook. I like to look at them on my shelf like trophies.
I think e-books are way more convenient, but I just love the idea of having shelves and shelves bursting with books lining all the walls of my apartment. It would make me so happy to look at. Plus, I just love the feeling of holding an actual book in your hands, and the sound that the pages make when you turn them is just... ughh. I'm such a nerd ^_^
Honestly, I can usually read 5 books a week, but I don't know if I should be sad that this is actually one of the things I'm most proud of in my life... At least I know you're impressed haha
Are you ever going to put up another video!?! I check like every time I come on UA-cam which is pretty much everyday and am disappointed when you don't have a new one up.
This tag looks awesome I may ask some of my friends these questions. Nobody likes to read anymore but I have book tubers to support me. My friends look at me like I am crazy when I ramble about books. So glad I have people like you to support me!!!😉😉😉
Dude, I know the feel about being bad at following through with trilogies. Or, in my case, any book series. I still have to read the second book in The Daughter of Smoke & Bone series, and I finished the first one... I don't even remember. It's been awhile, haha.
It really never occurred to me to check author gender either, I usually just look at the book itself, is it a book I am interested in reading? Yes? Buy! No? Don't buy!
I actually once read five books within the space of a week...haven't done it lately cos of work but...the curse of not having wi fi in the Irish countryside XD
I read five books in one week before. When I go to the beach I can read four books still go to the ocean and do tons of other things and still complete four books in that one week.
Same with me and trilogies. I mostly 'forget' to read the last book of a trilogy. Don't know why but I think it's because they're so worse than the ones before. :D
WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!? I think we had nearly identical answers to all of these (I was playing along) and you're so funny!! I WISH WE WERE BEST FRIENDS OK? And your bookshelf / book collection dear lord I haven't seen anything that beautiful in a loooong time.
I love the ending, with the mess ups. It's nice to see that everyone makes weird noises and faces at mess ups. Sometimes It's kind of amusing to even just let the camera roll when weird things are happening! xD
my favorite genre right now is YA high fantasy, YA fantasy, YA epic fantasy, Dystopian and Science fiction, I feel like I am trapped in a box and cant get myself out of it, as much as i am told to try new sorts of books I could read YA fantasy, YA high fantasy, YA epic fantasy, Dystopian and Science fiction forever.
I would rather #1-trilogy's #2-Male #3-amazon (I don't shop at ether) #4-shows #5-week #6-Author (I'm writing my own book now) #7- new books #8-book seller #9-Favorite #10-physical
I find it amusing that female/male author is a question. It never really occured to me about what I was reading in terms of author gender.
I had the same feeling! I was like.. why is this even a question?
completely agree. ... I was like..... what????
AH TO READ FIVE BOOKS A WEEK WOULD BE THE DREAM
Yes !
I think our answers were pretty much identical for this tag WHOOOAAAA TWINNING WE ARE OBVIOUSLY GENIUSES
YES. JESSETASTIC OR KATYTHEREADER EITHER WILL DO! :D TWINZZZ.
JESSETASTIC FTW!!
jessethereader Or Kassethetastic lol
jessethereader Or Kassethetastic lol
If I buy a trilogy, I buy the whole trilogy and read it all together.
I started the To All The Boys series about 2 months ago... I finished 2 days ago. Lol
I read 6 books last week. Do I deserve a cookie?

You deserve a cake. I haven't finished one in like a month so
I'm a lil late but I assume you still like cookies soooo 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
Your intro "whoosh" was very energetic today! :)
Haha! It was an energetic filming session. ;D
thanks for doing this tag! it really is a hard one! it's so interesting to see everyone's different answers, really tells you a lot about their reading habits!
sure thing! it was such a struggle picking an answer for each question. xD
You applauded me !😆(yeah I can read about 4-7 books a week)
I don't care if the author is male or female either. I'd have to consult my book list and count them up to find out which I read most. Love you entrances and exits--very entertaining!
I'm just jealous of your everything: books, looks, etc.
Omg your bookshelf is so beautiful😍
thanks so much! n_n

TBR piles only grow...even if you could read 5 books per week.....there is just sooo many amazing books out there!! It so wonderfully sad........
Fr its so sad
Haha I'm really bad at following trilogies too... #thestruggleisreal
Totally agree on the tv into books answer! UGH imagine your favorite books turning into a show than a movie. More time to enjoy the story & involve more detail 😭
gosh why do you look so cute ????
HAHAHA, "I love the smell of them!..... actually this one smells gross because I got it from a library booksale"
Omg I died! XD

I pretty much agree with all your answers!! ps: your hardcover books are soo beautiful! Wish we had more of them here!
Oooh I love watching this tag! I haven't done it because I literally can't even answer the questions. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL
Hardbacks are cheaper if you buy them on b&n's website versus in store (actually, pretty much the same cost as amazon). Also, b&n lists secondhand/indie stores (like amazon) where you buy the book new/used for cheaper.
Erotica is a genre, careful what you wish for

I agree with having books be television shows. That's why I love the Outlander show because they have the time to do the book justice.
When you picked up crank I freaked out. Fav book ever!
I seriously can't get enough of your videos!
Awesome Video Jesse
These questions are actually difficult!
I'd go with Amazon too. Completely agree that people who can read 5 books per week are winning at life!
Lol oh my. I read about 4 books a week and the tbr pile never gets smaller. There is always more!
YAY ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO! It was really fun seeing your answers and I love your pretty bookshelf! 💗
Yeah new video.
you are honestly my favorite booktuber!
Honestly, I can usually read 5 books a week, but I don't know if I should be sad that this is actually one of the things I'm most proud of in my life... At least I know you're impressed haha
Omg I love your videos!!! Your energy, and excitement over reading is just amazing, and i really admire that!!!
The bloopers at the end make me so happy. ♡
Are you ever going to put up another video!?! I check like every time I come on UA-cam which is pretty much everyday and am disappointed when you don't have a new one up.
SAME HERE ! Where is he? Got he hit by a book ? What happened to Jesse?
One point last year when I was in school I ended up reading a book a day. for about 3-4 weeks
This tag looks awesome I may ask some of my friends these questions. Nobody likes to read anymore but I have book tubers to support me. My friends look at me like I am crazy when I ramble about books. So glad I have people like you to support me!!!😉😉😉
Crank was an... interesting book.
xx
Love the video, I agree with you on almost all of the questions!
This tag looks hard👀
Jajaja and Funny.
Jesse your videos are just awesome, i love them:)
I loved this tag:)
Jesse, why u no post video more often. Love your vids still. :D
Yay! I'm winning at something. If reading 5 books a week is the only thing I'm good at, then I'll take it!
Dude, I know the feel about being bad at following through with trilogies. Or, in my case, any book series. I still have to read the second book in The Daughter of Smoke & Bone series, and I finished the first one... I don't even remember. It's been awhile, haha.
I think I'm going to do this soon... although i have a lot of tags already..
Jesse we all miss you come back #findjessethereader
I don't have a favourite genre either! Lol. I love your video!
Reading 1 book a week is my goal lol
I like Powell's because they often have Amazon-price books if you dig hard enough.
Jesse you're the coolest
My friend can read a really long book in one day or sometimes in one hour and I'm amazed by her
Ester Schneider that is easy
well, one time I read 10 books in 5 days.
Yaaaay! I'm winning at life!!
I also read my ebooks quicker! Its just so convenient we can read it anywhere. But I couldnt part with my books so its a very hard choice lol
right?! I always read them so much quicker!
For me it's always slower to read ebooks, I carry books with me, but not my iPad mini or kindle (I don't have an Iphone).
"I find it really hard to go and see a hardback book for $20..." in Australia, our paperback books are $20 smh :'(
It really never occurred to me to check author gender either, I usually just look at the book itself, is it a book I am interested in reading? Yes? Buy! No? Don't buy!
If I had to choose just one, I would go with ebooks bc I litterally paid two ninety nine for Black Ice.
DAAAANG. Yeah, that is something that's great about e-books. Sometimes they're super cheap! :D
I actually once read five books within the space of a week...haven't done it lately cos of work but...the curse of not having wi fi in the Irish countryside XD
I read five books in one week before. When I go to the beach I can read four books still go to the ocean and do tons of other things and still complete four books in that one week.
this was so much fun to watch that i ended up just filming the tag as well. WOOT!
I would constantly read new books. And just listen to my favorite ones on audiobook😅. Tricked Ya there would you rather question!
i love your videos so much i always look forward to them omg 💕💕
Same with me and trilogies.
I mostly 'forget' to read the last book of a trilogy. Don't know why but I think it's because they're so worse than the ones before. :D
IKR!
Jesse, please post more vids. I would really love it. plx :')
jesseeee where did you goooo.....? D-':
I'm the same way with trilogies... Haha I always read the first one and never read the other two.
God, that TBR...
AUTHOR ♥ I AM one... Though the bookstore thing still has to be realized. Eboo-only sucks sometimes xD
Wow so many hard questions! Im so indecisive, I would die because of the struggle haha. LOL your bloopers! The ending doe xD
You have in the wrong order The Heroes of Olympus.. YES, I SAW THAT. Love you!
ugh why do i always fail at having my books in order. xD
I read 1-2 books a day/night
Love you!❤️
WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?
I think we had nearly identical answers to all of these (I was playing along) and you're so funny!! I WISH WE WERE BEST FRIENDS OK? And your bookshelf / book collection dear lord I haven't seen anything that beautiful in a loooong time.
Loved the tag!! btw, Bookables has already done it :D
I love the ending, with the mess ups. It's nice to see that everyone makes weird noises and faces at mess ups. Sometimes It's kind of amusing to even just let the camera roll when weird things are happening! xD
lol I love smelling by books too! hahaha We had many similar answers yay! lol
Most of my answers were the same. That's awesome. 😀
THEY'RE MAKING A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENS INTO A NETFLIX SHOW AND I MIGHT DIE. THOSE BOOKS ARE MY CHILDHOOD.
YOU'RE SO FABULOUS, I LOVE YOU!😩🙌🏾
Such a fun video! This tag looks *so* difficult, I'm glad no one has tagged me. xD I agree with a lot of your answers though. :)
It's definitely hard to decide what to go with for each question! haha
jessethereader I know this is random, but what tripod do you use? And how tall is it? I'm looking to get a really tall one.
haha you're mess up noises are fantastic :)
Yeah I did this tag and really struggled with the first question aahaha.
Where are youu!? You haven't upload a video
These questions are so hard to answer!
They really are!
my favorite genre right now is YA high fantasy, YA fantasy, YA epic fantasy, Dystopian and Science fiction, I feel like I am trapped in a box and cant get myself out of it, as much as i am told to try new sorts of books I could read YA fantasy, YA high fantasy, YA epic fantasy, Dystopian and Science fiction forever.
I can only read 1-2 books per week, depending on what book it is and how thick it is
Do the Draw my Life Tag!!!!!
Still my favourite youtuber ever :)
THE IRON TRIAL!
I can read 3 sorta thick books in a week, but 5...that would be great
I would rather
#1-trilogy's
#2-Male
#3-amazon (I don't shop at ether)
#4-shows
#5-week
#6-Author (I'm writing my own book now)
#7- new books
#8-book seller
#9-Favorite
#10-physical
If it has less than 400 pages I can finish it in a day.
lama albawardy if it has more i can finish it if i like it like the harry potter series most fans read the books in a day
Love you Jesse! Have you read the Percy Jackson series? If so which was your favorite book from the series?
My sister reads like six books per week she just reads and reads the only time I see her is in the morning before we go to school and at dinner
what 3 books were next to The Iron Trials. I like the covers
I know that it's a like a trilogy or something.....I'm pretty sure one is called Siege and Storm
The Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, I believe
You were very... Energetic today hahaha nice video :)
Watching your video made me want to do this tag myself. We have most of the same answers too. :)
